I haven't had anyone near my mouth with dental tools in over six years. For my first appointment in so long, prompted by a search of what was closest to my office, Dr. Yahov was able to promptly schedule me and was so gentle. The reason I hadn't been to a dentist in years is generally hating the experience- the waiting room, the process itself, and the aftermath. This experience couldn't have been better. One of his nurses even held my hand during the drilling (where I didn't feel a thing). Dr. Yahov was so gentle and really put me at ease. He also found about four cavities. The process was streamlined, efficient, and I can't believe the amount of work he got done without freaking me out at any point. Looking forward to the next visit in a few months, which is a rare thing for me to say! more

Dr. Jonathan Yahav was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to call him and make an appointment for an exam and estimate to fix my front teeth. I informed him that before I make any decision to have work done I will need to get a few more estimates and opinions from other dentists. To my surprise, the third estimate that I had done told me that they found that I have a periodontal disease on my gums and the best thing to do will be to pull out all my front teeth and do a permanent bridge. I was in shock when they told me that and couldn't believe it and could not sleep all night thinking about it. Then after I had a total of four estimates and different opinions from different dentists I decided to call Dr. Yahav again and he explained to me in greater detail and verified the extent of the disease. He carefully reviewed my teeth again for a second time and he decided upon the best treatment plan for me. Now, my front teeth look better than I could have expected. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Yahav and I am grateful to him for his kindness and patience. I felt very comfortable in the dentist’s office and everyone was so pleasant to deal with. I will recommend Dr. Yahav and his staff to anyone! more

everyone working here is friendly and experienced. the service is timely and efficient. you are never pressured into extra services and the work is reliable and professional. i have recommended this office to several friends. Dr. Yahav and staff do an excellent job. Great ambiance. Essentially no wait. Friendly staff. Impressive work from cosmetic tooth alterations to ceramic fillings to rebuild molars. I can't even tell which molar he reconstructed and which are natural as the color and contour perfectly recreated the part destroyed by decay. He explains his philosophy and everything he does in detail. Excellent bedside manner. Would recommend him to family and have sent friends to hime and they have have been quite pleased. Pros: no wait, quick professional service, pleasant staff Cons: none more

Having moved from Ann Arbor, I was looking for a new dentist. Dr. Yahav's office wasn't the first I contacted but I wish it had been. My experience with his Evanston office has been consistently excellent. more

My experience with his Evanston office has been consistently excellent. Office staff is personable and professional. Office hours fit my busy schedule well. Everyone takes the time to answer my questions and deliver good care. And I don't miss the hard sale for sketchy services that other dental offices increasingly ply. I heartily recommend Chicago Smile Center to anyone looking for a new dentist. more

Dr. Yahav & Assoc. was the first dentist I went to after moving to the Chicago area, and I'm glad I did. I went for a routine cleaning, and the whole experience was very quick, organized, and painless. Also, the Evanston office is very convenient for the Northwestern community, located just south of campus. more

I've been going to Dr. Yahav for 4 years now, and had cleanings, bondings and even Invisalign done. I really have been quite pleased with the service. In addition to more modern techniques (e.g. ultrasonic cleaning instead of just normal "scrapping"), the dental hygienists and administrative staff is always has been really friendly and helpful. The only drawback I can think of is that the offices can be slightly busy so you need to speak up if you have any questions or you may miss your chance. The flip side of this however, is that the wait times are much shorter than most other doctors/dentists I've been too. Lastly, it is important to note that Dr. Yahav, in addition to caring about dental health, also understands how much people care about the aesthetics/looks of their teeth, and always strives to make sure you look your best. This is an important trait, and one that other dentists don't always have. All in all, a great experience! Thus far, I have had two implants, a few crowns, and a few fillings done by Dr. Yahav. They are all doing fine. I like his philosophy of helping me hang onto my teeth for as longs as I possibly can. We finally have a dentist that we are confident in. He not only knows everything there is to know about teeth, but his excellent work and sense of mechanics made my jaw-closing feel comfortable - a feeling that I had not had in years. He is a true artist, and I cannot imagine how any dentist could be better than he is. My wife are truly blessed to have found him. Pros: So comprehensive in talent and training more
