I found myself drawn there today. It changed owners just eight months ago they said. I was greeted at the door by a little boy. He welcomed me and gave me a menu. I picked my own table. The place was empty except for a lady waiting for take out. I ordered Pad Si Uw, a noodle dish, with tofu two starts. You can get up to four. I eat at a lot of Thai restaurants throughout the city. I have been in at least 10 to 15 different ones and Thai is my favorite. The Pad Si Uw was some of the best tasting I have had. The ingredients looked nice and fresh and I loved the way the fresh tofu was done. I am glad I came and will check if other dishes are as good. Enjoy. Chada Thai in north Seattle is the only place to eat spicy thai food that is really great. If it isn't spicy enough, then complain. The previous owner 'Sowhat' will hear and make sure they kick it up. Pros: Easty to find. Good service during lunch. Cons: Parking is limited. Dinner can mean a wait. more

Worst Thai food I've had! Bland, without flavor of any kind except the 'hot' of the fried rice. CANNED mushrooms, cheap store-bought noodles, and worst worst worst of all! cubed baked tofu thrown in as an afterthought. Took over 30 minutes for this exceedingly sub-par food - service seemed annoyed at our presence (this was a to-go order of 5 dishes). Relatives from Florida thought it was fine - but in Seattle, this is far far far away from decent Thai food. more

Chada Thai has the best pad thai ever, and is the only Thai restaurant out of the countless others I've been to that can actually bring the heat. No other place compares to Chada Thai's ability to serve up a dish of the spiciest Thai food you've ever tasted. Not many people can handle the spiciness, but if you can, you'll really enjoy it. more

There's nothing special here. I went out of my way to check it out based on the reviews I read on this site, and was disappointed to find a Thai resturant thats mediocre at best. It may be more authentic then some, but for the most part it fits into the standard Thai resturant mold thats geared for westerners. The menu is also very slim compared to other Thai resturants in this area. There were a few items I was suprised not to see. I did try the Phad Thai based on someones positive remarks, which was pretty good. But mainly, I found the service to very unfriendly and rather rude, especially since I was the only one there. I let him know with a short tip, which is something I rarely do. All and all, there are better places to go eat good Thai in Seattle then Chada Thai. more

This has been my favorite restaurant since I was 5. I love it. My usuals are the Chefs favorite salad which I could live off of. Lettuce with cashews, peanuts, chicken, cilantro, spicey and limey. I love it. The Phad Thai is better than any other. No red stuff in the sauce. No other even compares to it. Pud Pri King is amazing curry and green bean stuff. Anything with peanut sauce is amazing! they have the best peanut sauce. more

New owners have taken over our favorite Thai restaurant. Food is good although the Pad Thai needs some more work (needs previous owner's recipe). A clean newly painted restaurant with a very nice, pleasant family makes this a place we will return to. Lunch special's are very good and includes soup! Try them! O.K Gang!!! There are so many good thai rest's about. Guess what...they can't match these folks. They serve a special dish most rest.'s don't because it's labor intensive....but you can't miss it...if you do...poor you. The Angel wings are impossible to find elsewhere yet bound to be one of the highlights of your meal. When we have guests from out of town we take them there....when they come back they want to return. Besides this appetizer, the Rama Chicken, the spicy prawns, so many others...they are the best. We've moved out of the area to Lynnwood some 4 yrs ago...but we still order pick up when we need a real Thai fix....guaranteed!! Try it out and rate them here. I'll bet you'll be happy. The place is simple but very clean...the waiter/owner is very hospitable, entertaining and gracious. GREAT PLACE!!!! Pros: Good Parking, Good Value, Excellent Food Cons: off peak for p/u bes more
