Car Smart Auto Sales

Good service...but their ""refer a friend"" program is a scam to get more business. You're supposed to get a reward for referring your friends. we did they were approved and they got a new car. BUT we never received the ""referral cards"" in the mail so.....we didnt get the rewards. we were told the owner ""didn't trust it"" how? idk why? idk I was willing to walk in there with the people we referred if they didn't believe them, but no, not good enough either. O we also never got the gift card that was promised to us in the mail either. Contacted them about it ....still waiting on it. more

I WAS SHOCKED!!!! I came in with horrible credit and drove off the lot the same day with a GREAT car! I had really planned on being turned down like I was everywhere else, But Carsmart really worked with me, they took the time to check out all of my options. I will be telling anyone who needs a car to go to Carsmart. more

Carsmart helped me when NO ONE else could. I was in desperate need of building my credit up and a buy here pay here just wasn't an option. I called to ask some questions and was to get pre qualified over the phone, a big help since I stay in St Joe. I came in for an appointment on a Saturday with my 2 kids. There were a lot of things to keep my kids busy, including a theater room! I was able to be helped right away... The whole process was painless. I drove away that day with a 2011 Chevy Silverado! Exactly what i was needing. I cant thank Carsmart enough!!!!!!!!!!!!. more

I was very nervous walking into Carsmart, and that all kind of faded away as soon as I got thru the door. Everyone there was so nice and friendly! They did everything possible to get me into a car to fit my family. I was very suprised when they told me what the payments were going to be. I thought for sure with my credit score I would have had a huge monthly payment, VERY UNTRUE. I am so happy with my new car!! I am going to tell all my friends to come to Carsmart! I heard the ad on the radio and really thought it was to good to be true, so I called in and spoke with Courtney and went thru a pre qualification process. I found out that there were lenders willing to help me, so i set an appointment to come in to the dealership. I arrived at Carsmart and was greeted with smiling faces and people who were willing to help me. I came in with less than perfect credit to say the least. I also came in with a hope of getting into a certain vehicle but was afraid that my credit wouldn't let me..... After submitting my information to the finance department i got a quick response that I was approved for the car that I was hoping for and also with a monthly payment that I could afford. This was the BEST car buying experience I have ever had!!! I will soon be looking to get my son a vehicle and there is no doubt that we will be coming to Carsmart! Thanks for everything!!!! more

I had the best service from CarSmart!!! I heard the ads and thought BS all the way...when I called the lady that helped me was super nice and helpful so I set my appointment to go in and meet with a sales person. Right when I walked through the door someone was there to help me, it took a little bit to get my approval because I have the worlds worst credit becuase of my divorce and past mistakes. They actually took the time to look and me and what I have done to try and make it better, I am now driving a car I love with payments I can afford and keep insurance so I don't have to worry any more while I am out. I could say that CarSmart was my saving grace becuase I haven't felt this relieved in a long time I can breath easier and every month I make my payment is helps all 3 of my credit scores...it's nice to know there are people out there that can help you find the light at the end of a dark tunel!!! Thank you CarSmart and all of your employees!!! more

I went to into CarSmart when I heard bout the nickel deal and I was SUPER scared because my credit ain't great but I need a new car. Nigel was soooo nice even after we looked at my credit and he shows me these cars that were all like in my price range and really made me feel like I had a lot of options. He helped me get a great interest rate and I left in my new ride!!! It was soo great!!! I love it!! more

MY FRIEND purchased a KIA Spectra 2009 from them in June 2011. He asked them to include ALL TAXES AND FEES & PROPERTY TAXES IN THE LOAN & ANYTHING ELSE HE NEEDED TO GET TAGS ON THE CAR. Car Smart wrote a check out to "" Kansas Department of Revenue "" for $865.01 and did not include Personal Property Tax & Title Fee & Registration & Highway Patrol DMV inspection which was an additional total of $ 498.87. I spent all day at DMV and drove to CAR SMART and they REFUSED TO HONOR THEIR AGREEMENT & I was so angry and I STARTED TO CUSS AT ONE OF THEM & THEY THREW ME OFF CAR SMART PROPERTY AND THREATENED TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME. I left and reported them to ANGIES LIST & I was the first one to give them a review and now they have all very low marks. The car when I got it off the lot had to have the tires balanced and the windshield washers did'nt work and I had to go back and wait hours for them to fix it. The spare tire in the trunk was loose and was flying around in the trunk. They even told me the tires were NEW which they were not they just has a thick coat of ARMOR ALL on them. CAR SMART IS A JOKE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE ITS BETTER TO TAKE THE BUS THEN DEAL WITH THESE LOOSERS ! CALL ANGIE'S LIST AND REPORT THEM LIKE I DID. I WAS THE FIRST PERSON TO REVIEW ""CAR SMART"" AND NOW THEY HAVE A VERY LOW GRADE. I was with my friend thru the entire ordeal at CAR SMART and heard every thing they said and promised they would do and now he ends up with an additional 500 dollars he as to pay to get his tags. Just a Bunch of LIERS AND SWINDLERS AT CAR SMART ! more

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a dealership and I have purchased many cars in my day. I had an ""appointment"" and waited for 2 hours after first talking with Nate. I left. He called me 3 1/2 hours later and told me I was ""approved"" but could not give me any more information! Hmmm. Then ""Amanda"" called me, and this was after numerous calls trying to get me back in there to pick out my car. There is no ""Amanda"", even though she called me and said which cars I was approved for and to come back, I did on Monday, guess what, they said, oh you are not approved for that amount, someone gave you wrong information!!!! What a waste of my time, I really thought they would help me after calling and calling and telling me to come back, I was hesitant after the way I was treated the first time, but this ""Amanda"" assured me it was fine and I would only be there 1-2 hours and drive away with my new car. Then after I drive there, oh Im sorry, we gave you the wrong information. Oh so now they give out other peoples information!!!! Nice, how JACKED up is that?????? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! more

Talked to 3 separate people. Was there all day and told to come back the next day because they were closing and didn't have time to continue. Was there again all day the next day. Settled on a vehicle that had a slight issue. Took it to get it serviced a few days later. They kept the car for 3 days and used a quarter tank of gas and the issue STILL wasn't fixed. I was told it would be another week before I could bring it back to get the issue resolved. In the mean time, whatever they did to to try and solve the issue, they didn't properly put everything back together and tighten it down so I got a flat tire. Called and was told I would get a call back but never did. Ended up talking to a manager who said ""That's not my problem. Thank you."" and hung up the phone. Will NEVER go there again and would NOT recommend to anyone! They say anything to get you to buy a vehicle and it's nothing but LIES! Was also told their ""special"" was $4000 ABOVE trade in value. I Got $3000 total for my trade in. Pretty sure that is not $4000 above trade in value. AND, they refuse to answer any questions until the contract is already drawn up. Everything we asked, even what the exact payment would be, we were told finance would explain anything we needed to know...we get to finance and they're telling us to sign the contract while NOTHING was answered and then they decided to be rude because we had questions that hadn't been answered. Extremely rude people who are very good at lying. Worst car experience ever and now we're stuck with it. more

I had a great buying experience at Carsmart, I have bad credit from past problems but they were able to help me get into a GREAT new vehicle, I love my Mazda 6, I haven't had any problems with it and I've had it a couple months now, sorry to anyone else who had a bad experience but they really are helping people as long as you don't have unrealistic expectations, I messed my credit up and I know I had to start somewhere to get it back on a positive track and Carsmart helped me with that!!!! Thank you to everyone at Carsmart!!!! more

I got a Ford Focus it is wonderful on gas. It is great for me and my family.Michael was such a great guy I cant wait to come back in 8 to 9 months to get an HHR or something bigger but for right now that is all my credit would let me get but i am very happy with my car THANK YOU GUY VERY MUCH. I would not have been to get one from any other place. more

I had my car checked out because I am planning to go on vacation and I thought I might need an oil change (I've only had the car for 82 days). The Toyota place did a thorough check on the car and I found out that the valve cover gaskets, cam & crank seals are leaking and need to be replaced and the T-belts need to be changed. The transmission and power steering fluid need to be flushed and the air and cabin filters need to be changed. I can't put everything on here but the total bill is $1,385.98. I went back to Carsmart to see if they would even consider helping me out but they were very rude and told me they could not help me. I GOT PUNKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: The car looks good Cons: It needs $1,386.00 worth of work on it more

They say come on down and they'll get you in car but when I went down there I got the run around and they wanted 2,000 dollars. Why annouce something you can't promise Pros: great customer service Cons: They say they can get anybody in a car, not true more
