amazing homestyle "real" italian food. and the gentrified/americanized italian food they serve there is just as fantastic. we love this place. it's so nice to do business with/give your money to a place where you really like the people...and caffe capri is it. it's not pretentious or overflowing with silverlake haircut-hipsters. great mixed crowd. super service, you never feel rushed and heck, no corkage. a bit chilly in the winter, but so worth the goosebumps. we drive 30+ miles to have dinner there on a whim and are never disappointed. The homemade cuisine, firstly, is outstanding. I had the popular rigatoni norcina, which has a sauce so subtle yet flavorful I couldn't eat it slowly. I tried the tiramisu on a recommendation, and indeed it was delightful (although beware of inhaling cocoa powder! :). The prices here are reasonable, and Nancy, our server (and the owner's daughter) was so helpful and so friendly that we felt at home. I agree with the suggestion to bring one's own wine (they don't seem to charge a corking fee!). I highly commend Caffe Capri. Pros: Excellent dishes, Honest service more

Great Italian food. A small family-run Italian restaurant where the service is so good and friendly we felt like we were in Italy and were eating in the family's dining room. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is very good. Don't forget to bring your own wine, because they don't have an alcohol license. Most of all, don't forget to try their tiramisu, which is the best I've ever had. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Service, Great Food Cons: Parking can be tough more

This place is owned by two adorable italians who cook the food, and thier daughter is the server, family style! Delicious food and really good prices, and you can bring your own wine! Pros: inexpensive more
