Like a little attitude with your morning latte? Head to Caffe Vita in Lower Queen Anne (5th&Roy). The women here are the queens of coffee without fail. They create the creamiest, velvetiest, most beautiful lattes. Almost too beautiful to drink, until you take one whiff and the aroma overtakes you and you forget just how beautiful they are and get right into how delicious they taste. Plus, these aren't your usual apathetic baristas. The caffeine in their coffee has certainly gone straight to their personalities. They're a wake up call for sure. They're no coffee-nazis mind you, but it's never a boring morning at Vita. Always $2.50 well spent! more

I like the Coffee, but service is spotty 11/27/2005

I live right in the neighborhood and was excited to have Caffe Vita close by. The coffee is good here, but the service is spotty. We often take our own cups in to the store and once when we ordered a specific size the person working the counter rudely told us that we didn't know what we were talking about and we needed to order a different size. Other times people have been very nice, but I've been treated rudely at least 5 times. The last time was the last straw. We now go to other coffee houses. more

Real Deal in Seattle 8/16/2005

Remember the scene where WInston Wolf (Pulp Fiction) looks over at Tarantino and raises his mug in adoration of that cuppa joe? That was Caffe Vita in the cup. This bean juice has got to be one of the smoothest, creamiest pulls off a La Marzocco machine I've ever had. If you're staying downtown, make the mile jaunt north past the Space Needle to have a grande latte. more
