Cactus Cantina

Previously we have eaten breakfast here and noticed we only got 1 slice of toast. I have eaten all over the country. When ever I have eaten breakfast I have received 2 slices of toast. It's the American standard. We asked for 2 slice of Toast and received the toast on a second plate. Plus was charged 1.00 for the second slice of toast. In this economy one would want customer to return. However in this enconomy one slice of toast for 1.00 does not compute. We will go to ihop next time. more

Went here for dinner. Several things about my experience will keep me away forever! 1. I was seated in an awkward looking table and had to move twice. 2. Waitress brought me a cup of soda. There was a thin film of something on it, ie it was dirty! 3. Waitress didn't ask me how I wanted my steak. It came out completely rare (I like mine medium). Sent it back for a fresh one, came out even rarer! 4. As*h*le manager comes up, wouldn't look me in the eyes and basically blamed me for the problem. Left without eating. Apparently Glenn, the manager, is also the owner. He doesn't care about his customers. Bottomline, stay away! more

I have been to the Cactus several times and love it! the food and atmosphere is great, and usually the service is awesome. my only complaint is of a server i had last week. we went in on a sunday and she was very cold and unfriendly and took a while to greet us. when she finally did we asked the specials and she acted as if we had bothered her. all of our orders were mixed up and agaian when we informed her she seemed bothered by us. we didn't see much of her besides that. we still left a tip but she didn't deserve one. i cant remember her name but i know i won't be sitting with her again. maybe she was having a bad day but lady, don't take it out on your job more

This is a terrific place for delicious food, great service, and a fun time, no matter how many are in your party. \r \r With the variety of dishes on the menu, there is some thing for everyone. We have tried many different selections and have NEVER been disappointed. \r \r Our favorite server is Billy. She is friendly, attentive, and has a good sense of humor. \r \r You will definitely enjoy the fun atmosphere at Cactus Cantina. There are also big screen TVs if you are interested in watching sports. more

Took some colleagues to dinner the other night at Cactus Cantina and was very impressed with the food and service! I could not believe how much food we got for the price! The chicken was superb and the mashed potato and vegetable side was to die for!! I believe our server's name was Melanie and she made sure we were well taken care of and always had a smile! I will definitely recommend this place to friends and bring future clients to this restaurant for an affordable and filling meal!! I started coming to Cactus Cantina about a year ago-it's my favorite place to eat now! The people are great there-i always ask for my favorite server-Francisco, he is always so polite and courteous. The food is amazing, the best carne asada around, and they don't skimp on the portion sizes either! My kids love the waterfall and they always try to sit next to the colorful fishtank. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great food and a fun atmosphere! Cons: You better be walkin! more

This is a great place to dine! it's also a great place to relax and have a cocktail. The food is outstanding.\r they give you large healthy portions and serve with a smile. I LOVE THAT!\r You know how some places your server just drops you meal off and leaves NOT HERE\r They checked back with us often to make sure we had everything we needed and we never had to ask\r for a refill SWEET!\r I really like this place and the word around town is that so does everyone else\r Keep up the good work guys! We went to the Cactus Cantina a couple of times since the beginning of the year. I guess you could call us regulars at this place. I love it and so does the family! I like the atmosphere and the menu. The food is to die for and the service is excellent. I especially like the prices. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to go when your looking for a relaxing night out with family or can be a great night out if you just want to kick it with friends because the bar drinks are great too! The Cactus Cantina in Mission Grove has got to be the best place to take family and friends in Riverside\r The food is out of this world and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I have been there a few times and my friends and I all LOVE IT! The service is quick and friendly. The prices are fair and the food is outstanding. I have had quite a few of the items on the menu and have enjoyed everything! The bar drinks are awsome too. \r Where else in Riverside can you go to relax , and enjoy a great meal in a pleasent setting that doesn't cost a fortune? The quality of the food is outstanding and the service is great!\r I hope the new owners stick around this time because since they've taken over the place is the best it's ever been. My husband and I tried the food there when it was Texas Looseys and it was alright (not great) and when it switched to Iguana Joes it was horrible!\r This is the best resturant so far! I go to the Cactus Cantina as often as I can. The atmosphere is very warm and relaxing! \r I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have to say that the quality and size of the portions are great!\r You can bring the whole family because the menu is so deverse that there is something to please everyone in your group (even the fussy ones). The place is clean and the service is exceptional. I have been to a lot of places around here and I like this one the best. Large portions ,high quality foods, tasty dishes , refreshing \r bar drinks, quick friendly service and all at exceptional prices.
