These guys are crooks 5/22/2011

First of all: Cash only. If you're car gets towed by Cedar Towing, get ready to pull money out of two separate bank accounts (unless you have a high withdrawal limit). I used to think the city charge for towing was steep ($125), but that was before I had been towed by Cedar Towing. $250.10. Yes, and 10 cents. What could they do with all of that money, I wonder? Maybe, as the last commenter suggested, give me a buff and a carwash? Who knows. I happened to get towed INSIDE of a paid parking lot (Mill District Municipal Parking), because there were spaces reserved for the apartment building with unassuming signs by Cedar Towing. So, I paid for my parking space, then paid for my taxi to the tow lot, then paid to get the car out. I can't imagine these people are happy, or excited by life. The guy behind the counter was one of the most pathetic and unhappy looking people I've ever encountered in my life. I won't go into a description, lest I insult other people who match the description; but let's just say he wasn't familiar with subtler virtues of living. I could also tell he probably expected me to bitch him out when he casually said, ""$250, cash only."" After my double take, I saw the atm shoved in the corner I was practically leaning against. It felt like fast food, for car towing. Anyway, if you own a lot, or parking spaces, don't use these guys. They're crooks. You know that, I know that, don't be a douche. more

Negligent, unfair business practices 3/2/2009

Was towed February 2nd from a lot without appropriate signage and they cracked front bumper. Met with GM (Al) and owner as well as security company where they dismissed it, offering to pay half of the tow and none of the damage. Pros: They do business for city of minneapolis Cons: prices, refunds, professionalism, they damaged vehicle more

THIS IS THE WRONG ADRESS. I AM TIRED OF HAVING TO EXPLAIN TO THESE POOR PEOPLE THAT NOT ONLY DID THIER CAR GET TOWED BUT THAT THEY ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE. THIS COMPANY IS TO LAZY TO CHANGE THIER SIGN TO THE CORRECT ADRESS. PLEASE TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THIS IS THE WRONG , WRONG , WRONG ADRESS. Pros: WRONG ADRESS Cons: WRONG ADRESS more

Worst company in Minneapolis 5/9/2008

Cedar towing could very well be the worst company in Minneapolis. Ceadr towing will take your car and charge you about $300.00. I understand that companys in the city have limited parking spots for there quest, however, for that amount Cedar towing should detail and wash your car, and maybe even give you a ride to your car. $300.00 is a lot of money, and if you can't afford to pay then they will sell your car and keep the difference. I hope everyone can afford that amount of money. Pros: nothing Cons: everything more
