For years I heard that Seattle's best Indian restaurant was Chutneys. So I went there, faithfully, until I tried Banjara.
Their food is quite delicious, and their wait staff is friendly. They know my children's names, which is probably due to how much rice the girls tend to drop on the floor. But the staff never makes us feel unwelcome, and we go quite often.
Recommended: the samosas, the saag paneer and the fish in that honey sauce (I can't remember the name).
