Surprisingly good 5/18/2006

This restaurant looks like nothing special from its decor. In fact when we first walked in I was kind of creeped out because this place is like a dark basement. However, the food here is really good! They give you only the best seafood and their crabs and fries are so tasty. Here, you get really fresh seafood and a lot of it. It is a very casual place and one thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash. more

This is a must-visit seafood restaurant if you're in the Lincoln Park area. The place is frequently packed with patrons, and it's a pretty fun environment to be in. Like the other reviewer said, the lollipop hidden under food is pretty funny and endearing. Go on a day when they have good specials, and you won't regret it. more

VERY REASONABLE ON THEIR SEAFOOD PRICES,LOVE THEIR OYSTERS AND SOFT SHELL CRABS....IT'S A SMALL RESTURANT,LOCATED IN A BASEMENT,BUT IT'S COZY...THEY HAVE A FULL BAR ALSO AND MAKE EXCELLENT DRINKS.. THEY ALWAYS SERVE EACH MEAL WITH A LOLIPOP HIDDEN UNDER YOUR FRIES..LOL!! I THINK THAT'S CUTE,MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE A LITTLE KID,A ADDED BONUS WITH YOUR MEAL. PARKING CAN BE KIND OF A PAIN SOMETIMES,SO GO EARLY AS I KNOW THE WEEKENDS THERE ARE PACKED WITH PEOPLE...FRIENDLY STAFF..AND THEY RUN "SPECIALS" EVERYDAY AND HAVE GREAT PRICES OVERALL. more
