La Belle Epoque was a great restaurant with it's sassy Eda and adorable George making us feel as if we were family. After fifteen years of their pleasant greetings and excellent food, I will miss them very much. The early waiters were knowledgeable and attentive, but as time went on and the owners aged, they settled for a rude waiter who was 'dependable' and annoying as heck. Our daughter practically grew up there, hiding cookies that Eda had given her since she was 7. I loved the atmosphere, and was sad to see them leave. The next restaurant had the opposite effect. We were ignored and never did sit down to try the food.
Pros: Neighborhood/Family atmosphere, with excellent food and value
Cons: Rude waiter at the end, and now they're closed. (atmosphere will ruin a place)
