PS Property Management Company

I have seen some great changes since PS Property Management took over for Alliance Association Management. Alliance simply did not care about our community. PS Property Management has in just over a year fixed many issues we have had for years, and found more efficient ways to help run our community. Phyllis and her Senior management team has been great for Colonial Place. more

Company needs to do a better job at monitoring and sending out notices to home owners in violation. more

We have lights out, a garbage can near the community BBQ filled with dog feces that is never emptied in 100 degree heat, and fences with paint peeling off of them. I also cannot seem to reach anyone. I have emailed them and get a one sentence response stating that the issue will be forwarded to someone else, then nothing back. I called and someone answered the phone but the person who I have to talk to is ""on the other line right now"" so I leave a message and my number. Three days later I have yet to receive a return phone call. I have called since and no one answered the phone. I then emailed again and they do not respond to emails now. I guess PS really does stand for founder Phyllis Star. It surely doesn't stand for personal service in my case, they definitely don't seem too concerned. more

I know normally people don't say too many positive things about their HOA Management company. I just wanted to take a second and say that I think PS Property Management company does a great job managing our community. They have a real person answer every call, no menus or hold times. They actually take the time to answer any questions i may have or address any area of concern. We recently attended the HOA annual meeting and walked away feeling very satisfied. We had a surplus for the year after they find a way to cut our utility costs by 25%. I have lived in 3 different HOA's over 15 year time frame, and this is by far the most well run community i have experienced. I really do feel they are putting our HOA assessments to good use and having been improving our property values every year since they have been involved with our community. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to make some positive changes in their community. more

PS Properties has handeled our HOA dues since the subdivision began. They have yet to make any improvements. There is a surplus in the budget and they say that they are going to do things to improve our subdivision, but in the two years that I have lived here, I have yet to see anything done other than people being sent letters because their trash cans were on the street on the day of trash pickup. We were promised that a park for our subdivision would be in the works, yet when I question it they don't reply. A light was to be put up at the entrance to the subdivision 2 years ago, and it is still not up. They raise dues, and charge the homeowners a hefty fee to manage the money, but we do not see any improvements that are being made with this money. Very unhappy with the way this property company handles business!!! Cons: They are a con! more

Phyllis Starr is nothing but a greedy business person that abuses the system to exploit the homeowners of the community that she manages. Word of caution: do NOT do business with her. She has done NOTHING for the homeowners in our subdivision, there are no improvements to our common areas, she neglects our concerns and complaints, her staff is rude and obnoxious, and yet she keeps raising our dues! She is a horrible person - despicable and undeserving of the one star that I've given her. Cons: Read Comments more
