Cute gifts -- and stuff for yourself! 8/19/2005

Burnt Sugar is another one of Fremont's treasures. Unique gifts, clothing and accessories. The inventory is frequently changing and carefully selected, so go often. I really like the handbags and wallets here, I've also found some great cosmetic items. It can get a little pricey, but there are good sales and if you are a "one purse per season" gal like me, it's totally worth it to get a great one. more

Burnt Sugar might be the only place in the city where you can purchase Jack Spade bags. It’s an upscale boutique, but the stuff is really fun. It all has a French twist, too. Like I said, it’s expensive, but you won’t find these products in many other places. It makes for a fun stop in Fremont. more
