Don't waste your money. You can open cans at home 2/19/2011

Totally bad food for dinner. Wait staff was good but what came out on the plates was the worst. What are they thinking. This is the Lake Boone location. I don't know about the other location but I would feed this stuff to my dogs actually they ate better then we did tonight. We opened better cans then they did. I would suggest that they either get a chef or a cook that has some ability. If your going to serve on plate anyway why not serve everything on dishes rather than serve all condiments in plastic disposable containers; very costly and not very green!!! Wont be going back. more

Perfect family location 12/16/2010

My husband works over off of Blue Ridge road and we heard that this place just opened up off Lake Boone. We have been to the capital location a few times to watch N.C. State games and enjoyed it. I met him for lunch and was surprised at how nice it looks. Since my husband only had an hour we were hoping to get in and out so he could get back to work. When we got there we saw that they had a lunch buffet set up. He got the buffet and i got the bbq chicken salad. The salad was amazing. Service was fast and polite. We even got a chance to meet the owner who was a nice guy. Only wish it was nice so i could have sat on the patio. A must visit. more

New Buffalo Brothers located on Lake Boone Trail 9/9/2010

Buffalo Brothers, located on Lake Boone Trial - new to the area, thought I'd give it a try for lunch. The Capital Blvd location has always had wonderful service and excellent food. Well the new location was a bust! more

Nice Place but Poor Management 5/18/2010

Seven of us came out to Buffalo Brothers Pizza & Wing Company off of Capital Blvd to celebrate birthdays. It was the first time we had been there. We were told that appetizers were 1/2 off so we ordered three different ones with drinks. Two in our party ordered Chardonnay, which they were out of and the other one ordered a Sangria, which they said they no longer serve. Some at the table had coupons, which said one coupon per table but we asked could use them seeing as we had already been somewhat inconvenienced with our drink order. The waiter asked the manager and she said no. We asked to see the manager personally and very nicely explained our experience thus far thinking she would offer up some good customer serivce but not only did she say no but she was extremely rude! Once we were finished eating and the waiter brought us our bill he had to explain that the ""manager"" would not combine the (1) coupon with the 1/2 off appetizers, although the coupon was for an entree not an appetizer. Wish we had been told this from the beginning! We ordered alot of food and had a sizable tab to be treated so badly. The waiter was extremely apologetic and we felt bad for him. It's a shame to have a nice establishment with good food but because of poor management, it has cost them seven new customers. Pros: Good Food and Nice Waiter Cons: Manager Lacked Customer Service more

Not that great 3/7/2010

Let me start out by saying I have been to Buffalo Brothers 3 times, and always with the same group of people. I'm also a server myself, so I tend to give waiters/waitresses the benefit of the doubt often. However, I don't appreciate having a waitress roll her eyes multiple times while taking our order, when asked for refills, and when asked to split the checks. If she had given us a few minutes to decide which wings to order, we may have been more prepared to order in a concise manner. I wasn't much impressed by the wings anyway, only enjoying the spicy garlic Parmesan of the several flavors we ordered. My husband and our friends liked the cheesy fries, but I did not try them (I don't like cheesy fries anywhere, not just Buffalo Brothers). I once ordered a personal pizza with pineapple and jalapeno instead of trying and again disliking the wings, and it was good enough. I wasn't expecting much. Pros: Price Cons: staff, flavor more

Great Place for Game Night! 1/11/2009

A group of friends and I visited Buffalo Brothers on a big game night. Very busy, yet the service was quick and friendly! The food was tasty, but the wings are no match for independent and authentic wing joints with northern influence. I admit, I'm partial, having grown up, up north! It was good, nonetheless. Lots and lots of TVs, so you can always see and hear the game...and not just one or two sporting events, you have a choice of many! The restaurant was clean, the service was fine, they had a great menu selection, and the food was super. My only complaints are that the place was heavy with cigarette smoke (I guess it's expected in a sports bar), and the restaurant is not located in the best part of town, BUT it is very accessible to/from the beltline. Pros: Quick service, Great menu selection Cons: Overwhelming cigarette smoke, Location more

BBs from Buffalo NY?? 2/21/2008

I heard these guys talking about there franchise in Brier Creek. Each person was from South Carolina. Maybe they bought a franchise. From one visit I can tell they haven't every had really good NY Pizza or wings and I'm not even from NY.... Just travel to upstate NY a lot and tasted really good homemade food with fresh ingredients. Pros: Atmosphere Cons: Food more

Good food, good service, a fun time 11/19/2007

I'm a wing snob. These are the best I've had in the Triangle. Fried mozzarella was awesome. Its a great place to have a bar experience, very friendly & attentive service, & fair prices. Its worth the drive up or down Capital Blvd, trust me. Pros: Excellent wings more

Great Place in General. Has that CHEERS atmoshpere 7/25/2007

Although I have been in Raleigh longer than I care to mention, up until 2 months ago, I have never been here before. I was in the area to get my son a Playstation from a nearby shop and decided to pop in while waiting. We had wonderful food and great service. The wings are great (have not had the Pizza yet) and you MUST try the Cheesy Garlic Bread with dipping sauce - YUM! I have been stopping in when I get a chance ever since then and good food, service and fun every time. more

Disappointed! 7/24/2007

For quite sometime I have thought to try Buffalo Bros. but HATE going down Capital Blvd. So today I sucked it up and decided not to let an awful street to drive on stop me from a craving I had for ""Authentic Buffalo Style Pizza"". more

Great time 3/11/2007

There pizza was amazing. I had the buffalo chicken pizza and it was out of this world. The group I was with got some wings and some ribs. I didnt try the ribs but the wings were awesome. Cooked perfect and the sauce was great. They had reasonable beer prices. I think it was like $2 or $2.5 something like that. The wait staff was friendly and quick. I have been back a few times since my buddies were here from NY and have had nothing but the same enjoyable time. I would suggest giving these guys a try. I live in cary and frequent the express location in downtown cary. Pros: Great food and beer prices, tons of TV's and lots of different games on Cons: its on capital blvd- kinda of a drive for me more

The pizza and wings are great but you have to try the ribs 1/13/2007

The name says it all!! My family loves to eat out and its hard to find an affordable restaurant to take the kids to. Everything here is great especially the pizza, wings, and ribs. We always have good service and the food is pretty quick to the table so the kids like that. Its also a great place to go to catch the game and a beer with friends. Pros: the service and quality of food Cons: busy for big events more

Poor ownership/customer service 1/5/2007

The first few times I went I was pleased with the food and satisfied with the atmosphere. I even bought some coupons for future visits. Then I went on a Sunday to watch a football game. With all the TVs they had, they couldn't put even one on the channel with the game I wanted to see. I was told that management had set the channels and they were not allowed to change the channels. She even went and checked with the manager, but no luck. Then on the next visit they would not allow me to use the coupons to get the menu items that I wanted! The owner just wants to take in every penny he can without any regard to the customer. If you go, it's only a matter of time before you'll be sorry!! With all the options in Raleigh, avoid this place at all costs! more

Simply Awful 10/2/2006

This was one of the worst experiences ever. We took forever to get served. Our drinks came 20 minutes after we ordered them and then the waiter came back and said our order was misplaced and had to take everything again. Then, the appetizers came 5 minutes before our meals so our meals were sent back. When they finally came, they were cold and soggy. The worst food I've ever eaten and we eat all over, in all cities. The drinks were very overpriced as well. Stay clear. more

loved it 6/24/2006

took the family there during the week - atmosphere and service was very good - pizza was awesome.....kids enjoyed their affordable kids meals....definitely worth trying! more

Nothing special, below average atmosphere 4/30/2006

Don't waste your time on this restaurant, unless you enjoy pretending you are sitting in a cold Buffalo sports pub. As presented in the previous reviews, this place is ok if you are searching for an area to watch a NY based sports team. Bills, Yankees, Sabres, and Orangemen take top priority over all televised sporting events in this restaurant because these are the owners/managers favorite teams. Ignore their publication and radio advertisments presenting themselves as a great area to watch Canes hockey, Panthers football, or ACC sports. Pizza is good, but wings and sandwiches are below average. Nice plasma TV's, but poor distorted sound system. Pros: Pizza (carryout only), Clean restrooms Cons: Very Smoky more

A touch of the North in the South 3/19/2006

We were visiting my daughter in North Raleigh during the NCAA tournament. We needed to see the Syracuse Orange play, so we looked online for a sports bar. My daughter suggested maybe trying Buffalo Brothers. We read the online reviews and knew we had to try them. Great place! Great wings! Great Hospitality! Love the decor! Anyone visiting NC from NYS has to try this place. Pros: Great wings, Friendly staff, TVs for sports more

Glad to have you! 2/3/2006

Its tough on us natives sometimes to have to share our homeland with transplants, but when you can cook like this and provide quality service, you're welcome any time. Thanks for bringing a well needed restaurant to Capital Blvd. Pros: Good atmosphere, Great food, Great Service more

Best Wings and Pizza 7/3/2005

Buffalo Brothers has by far the best pizza and wings in the Raleigh and Chapel Hill area. We have enjoyed eating there on several occasions. In my opinion, after eating wings at the Anchor Bar which is where Buffalo wings originated, Buffalo Brothers is much better! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Please open a Buffalo Brothers closer to Chapel Hill! Pros: Great food, Large menu selection, Good atmosphere more

Pizza Rocks 6/25/2005

Upon moving to Raleigh, this restaraunt just happened to be next to the hotel I was staying at. New to the place, I searched up and down for a pizza place to dine in at. Finally, I just happen to see this place. The pizza there was so great! I have been back many times since, and no other pizza place is near as great as this one. Pros: excellent food, friendly waitress more
