Great work 2/13/2010

These guys did a great job for me in 2006. I had 90 feet of old cement pipe that was caving in in places. They were able to come in way under other bids because they don't have to dig a giant trench and replace sidewalks etc. Just four holes in strategic spots (about 4x4, 6ft deep, dug by hand with impressive speed). At the time they were the only ones who could do the trenchless pipe-bursting technique for my job. Glad I found them. Highly recommended. more

Great work great guys 10/23/2007

Jonathon C These guys really know what they're about. I had a 60ft lateral sewer line to be replaced 1 month ago. I called a number of companies at the weekend and the first to return my call was Paul from budget sewer. He promptly called to my house on Monday morning and was a straight talking no messing kind of guy. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about and he gave me a free quote for the job their and then. Based on this I shopped around and was astounded by some of the quotes I got back. Budget sewer kicked everyones ass by a mile. I called Paul back and he scheduled me in for the following day. His crew arrived with a no frills no messing attitude and they took to the job in hand straight away. They use a system called pipe bursting which causes very little disruption to the site. The one thing that surprised me was how much work a small crew could achieve in a very short time. The job was complete from start to finish in two and a half working days and my sewer was only out of service for 2 hours. Now thats pretty impressive in itself. These guys are hard workers and don't mess about. The site was left the way it was found so these guys get a thumbs up from me. Their Irish accent can be a bit hard to understand but who cares if they get the job done. more

Excellent service at a reasonable price. 7/8/2007

I recently had Budget Sewer replace my sewer line and I was very pleased with the whole experience. They were prompt, efficient and had a lower estimate than anyone else I contacted. Michael was easy to reach with any questions and left my landscaping looking beautiful. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs any sewer work done. more

Buget Sewer - 206.381.1904 1/21/2007

I had and 80ft lateral line replaced from my 80 year old house the the city line. I was referred to Paul Honeyman of Budget Sewer by an alternate plumbing service. He promptly returned voicemail. Provided a free estimate that day. Had a flexible schedule and was available for service the following business day. The staff was kind and courteous; and informative and responsive to questions and concerns. Service was completed ahead of schedule and upon completion, the the work site was cleaned up. I spoke with the city inspector who was satisfied with the work and confident with their ability. All my neighbors were interested in what was being done and impressed with the results. I was completely satisfied and would highly recommend for any plumbing service to get an estimate and ask questions AND call Budget Sewer. Price was aggressively competitive and work is scheduled six days a week. www.budgetsewer.com more

Sewer replacement without the headache 1/15/2007

I had to have my sewer line replaced last fall and I wasn't sure which company to go with, so I shopped around and found Budget Sewer. Their price was considerably less than some others and they could schedule my work soon. They completed the job in three days, with little upset to my yard, it wasn't a very big hole and they put things back together pretty well, and they also didn't mark up the city's cost to restore the street where my sewer line meets up with the city's. I found them to be punctual and easy to work with. I would definitely choose them again. They seem like good guys who know what they're doing, and I like the idea that they're a local company started by people who actually live in the same part of town that they work in. For me, it was a good experience. more

Great work at the right price 9/22/2006

Budget Sewer is the right company for you if you need sewer line work done for the best price. Budget Sewer replaced all of my drain lines with the exception of the larger pipe run before it connects to the city line. They do great work, and although your drain is never unavailable for more than an hour or so, it can take a few days to a week for them to accomplish the job. I'm sure that they would do work in a hurry if necessary. Some plumbing companies will converge a gaggle of people and equipment and work in a flurry, but you'll pay a ton extra for that. Budget Sewer left our yard in fine shape; neighbors were surprised how our yard quickly went from torn up to being back to normal. All that really suffered was the lawn, but it was real bad to begin and we told them we didn't care about the lawn. When they dig a hole, they don't lay down hundreds of square feet of 6 mil black plastic, then pile the dirt on top as some companies do. I had some work done by another company with this method, and when the plastic was picked up the next day I had wilted half-dead plants and a whole bunch of plastic trash they had to haul away. When Budget Sewer came out just a few weeks later to replace all my lines, they ended up piling the dirt on the same plants, but without the plastic, and left it there for a week, *however* the plants looked good as new when they were uncovered: happy plants, happy consumer and no plastic trash! You might be able to negotiate with them to do some some work yourself (such as digging shallow areas, if any). Also, their phone book ad says they will beat any quote by 10% (though I suspect they're rarely underbid). After talking to a number of friends who have had quotes for sewer work, it seems that the industry price is $1000 to $1500 per deep hole, plus $3000 per sewer drain line. Further, it seems that there isn't detail in any plumber's numbers: it's just a big price tag and you just figure that dealing with sewage and deep holes in the ground demands a premium. These guys seem to really know their line of work well. I had my sewer line marked by another company and Budget Sewer said part of the marking (the 4" to 6" join location) was wrong based on their experiences. Turns out that Budget Sewer was right on with where they said the join really was. Their personality might not be a match for some people as they're quite straight-forward in their communication, but once business is done they setting back into conversation. They don't drive fancy panel vans stocked with inventory, and the tools of their trade are minimal. They rely on and honor verbal agreements but will write down the bid if asked. I wouldn't hesitate to call Budget Sewer again. more
