Always my go to place for Thai food. Great value for money. The food is yummy, service is fast, staff is friendly. I generally order the Pad Kee Mao with their signature crispy g...

We used to always order the crab fried rice to go. The last 3 times we ordered it, we'd get all the way home and there'd be NO CRAB in the rice at all - and hello, at $15 it ain'...

YUM!!!!!!!! 2/5/2005

I almost hate to give away the secret about this place. My husband and I went last night for the first time, on a neighbor's recommendation, and we were impressed. He had a chicken with fried rice dish, which was good; seemed pretty ""normal"". I decided to be a little more adventurous and tried the crispy garlic chicken which was OUT OF THIS WORLD delicious. Additionally, the service was great (energetic and hard-working); we had no reservation, but were seated right away and they went out of their way to make sure everything was good for us, without overdoing it. I can't wait to have some more crispy chicken! Pros: flavorful food, attentive service, simple setting/decor Cons: street parking, easy to miss location more

Yum! 1/28/2005

The best Thai food we have found in the Seattle area so far. Their flavors are exquisite! A smidge on the pricey side, but well worth it! Definitely dine in, instead of taking out. Pros: Exquisite Flavors, Quick Service Cons: Street Parking more

The Thai Search is Over! 9/15/2004

When we moved to West Seattle from out of state, we began trying out new Thai places. After several horrible meals, we found Buddha Ruksa. They have great ambiance. really really good thai food and fast friendly service as well as decent prices. Now we eat here almost once a week, we love it! more

Best Thai Ever.... 7/30/2004

This is West Seattle's best kept secret! The food is the star of this place. I've had so many different items from the menu and this place never disappoints. The garlic chicken will leave you wanting more, and the panang curry is one of the best I've ever had. You just can't go wrong here. The atmospehre is cozy and great for small parties, but the take out is always fresh and delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!! Pros: Great Food, Cozy Atmosphere more

One of the best Thai resturaunts around 7/14/2004

Budda Ruska is the best Thai resturaunt I've dined at in the Seattle area. The flavors ARE authentic (I should know I've spent 2 years in Thailand). Unlike many Thai resturaunts where an Asian nationality just picks up a Thai cookbook and calls the place Thai, this place is run by Thais. This is one of the few resturaunts where I can use Thai to communicate. The crispy duck and chicken with crisp basil is my favorite dish. The curries are flavourful. The service is EXCELLENT. They have a large to go business but this does not adversly affect the patrons dining inside (unlike Pailin). Ambience, genuine Thai. You will not be disappointed. Pros: Ambience, Food, Service more

Yummy Thai in West Seattle! 9/4/2003

All right, this is a nice little restaurant! The food is delish, esp. the prawns-in-a-blanket - crunchy and flavorful. Other than that I've just tried the Pad Thai and bites of my husband's dishes - all have been tasty. The service is good - attentive and polite but not annoying. Just the way I like it. Nice ambience too, not too big, just a tasteful quiet little place. I will have many prawns-in-a-blanket there! Pros: Attentive service!, Delicious food!, Pleasant atmosphere! Cons: None! more
