We call her Daphne Disaster. Everything this woman touches turns into a minor disaster. The last time I was at her house she turned on the dishwasher and old faithful geyser came out of her kitchen sink drain. There was water everywhere. I called Brooklyn Appliance Repair for her and the technician arrived in about an hour. It turned out not to be a dishwasher problem but a drain problem. The technician from Brooklyn Appliance Repair went beyond his call and cleared it out anyway and Daphne was ready for her next disaster. more

Professional!!! 5/6/2011

Before I list a house for sale, as a real estate professional, I always advise the seller on what to do to make the house as desirable as possible. If there is a problem with an appliance not working that sends a bad signal to the buyer that there may be other problems. I always suggest having Brooklyn Appliance Repair inspect all the appliances and make any repairs or adjustments necessary. The home buyer may not notice if there is a problem but a good inspector definitely will. Brooklyn Appliance Repair will catch any problem every time. more

I will always rely on Brooklyn Appliance Repair. 5/1/2011

When I was watching TV late one night there suddenly came a sound from our Hotpoint refrigerator that was more like a food processor. I used all my technical skills and hit it really hard on the top where the sound seemed to be coming from. That worked for a minute and then it started again. The next shot did not work. The next day I called Brooklyn Appliance Repair. The technician came that afternoon and checked it out. It was only the motor coming loose from its footing and causing vibration. He could have sold me a new compressor of worse but he was honest. I will always rely on Brooklyn Appliance Repair in the future. more

I have used Brooklyn Appliance Repair for years to repair anything from washers to refrigerators. I refurbish homes and resell them and every dollar of expense takes away from the profit on the resale. If there is an appliance that does not work properly, if I can get it repaired, as long as it looks good, it is better than replacing it when it comes to the bottom line. They are always honest and replace only what?s needed to get the appliance in top running condition. If it is not worth repairing they will always tell me up front. more

They were very professional and courteous. 4/22/2011

My wife and I just moved into out new apartment In Dumbo. We are paying a lot more for rent than before so we did not expect to find that the Kitchen Aid dishwasher did not get hot. It would wash the dishes with hot water but would not dry them. We could have called the building manager but it would have taken too long. Instead we called Brooklyn Appliance Repair. They arrived the next morning and replaced a defective coil. They were very professional and courteous and also very meticulous in their work, taking great care not to make a mess. We will call them again the next time. We sent the bill to the landlord. Let?s see what happens. more

Brooklyn Appliance Repair, thank you for quick, prompt service. Cost was very reasonable and as soon as the technician got here he worked as quickly as he could with knowledge and professionalism. Your honesty with the problem and willingness to fix it rather than charge me for a new part saved me money. AC repair Brooklyn 8/11/2010

I called Brooklyn Appliance Repair at 11 a.m. for my Air Conditioner and they were out within an hour. Not only did they fix the unit but the service man helped me adjust something on another appliance. The service was efficient, clean, and very inexpensive compared to another company I called. Highly recommend. more
