Where in the world can you go from one minute thinking you'll be without wheels for a week to the next minute having your trans rebuilt and on the road in one day? Bradan automotive has impressed me by leaps and bounds. Not being from the area i went on citysearch to find a reputable shop. Once i read the reviews of other customers i felt that bradan was a no brainer. Before i went i was wondering how they would really be(thinking that the reviews sounded almost too good). When i got there tuesday 9am. dan met me right outside and in under ten minutes I had the diagnosis, price, and lead time. He promised it by friday but lo and behold wednesday at 3pm the phone rang. "Hello, this is chuck at bradan automotive, your truck is done. @#$%^&? no way!! It works great, dan even drove it back from st paul and said it shifts nicely. The trans shop he deals with deserves credit as well for doing fast, honest and quality work. The only complaint i could possibly ever have is dan leaving his soda bottle in my truck. w t f dan. I feel like i found the jackpot by going with them first. Pros: extremely fast, efficient, knowledgeable Cons: absolutely none more

I was so impressed with the Honest, Objective, Accurate, and VERY PERSONABLE Service that i recieved from these guy's... That i would recommend them to both my Family and Friends. My truck broke down on a busy street, the owner Himself assisted me, then gave me an Excellent diagnosis, performed the repair I needed, and had me back on the road before I had to make any other transportation arangements. I've taken my vehicles to Bradan over the last few years now because they always able to explain to me the problem in terms i can understand. Its hard to find a "Car Guy" that you can completely trust, just stop in and talk to them and you will feel like your bringing your car to an old friend, definately makes the stressful situation better! I have been taking my car to Bradan Automotive now for about one year and have yet to leave without being impressed. About four months ago, I took my car to their shop thinking that I needed a new transmission, which would have cost me some serious cash. I left my car at their shop and gave Dan my cell phone to call me when he had diagnosed the problem. Instead of just telling me that yep, I needed a new transmission, he found out that there was just a few simple repairs that needed to be made that didn't cost much at all. This has been my experience with Bradan; they let you know truthfully what is wrong with your car, and then fix it. I used to be scared of being ripped off by mechanics because, lets face it, if they told me I needed a new rotator plug for my muffler belt, I just might believe it because I don't know a thing about cars. Now, when something goes wrong with my car, I know where to go without the anxiety associated with the unknown. They let me know what they are doing and why, and I know that I can trust what they say. THANKS BRADAN!!! Pros: They take the time to tell you what is going on Cons: None... they are great! more

I can not say enough good things about Bradan Automotive. Dan and Brad really did a wonderful job on my car. Bradan was quick, thorough, and most of all completely honest about what I did and didn't need to get my car back on the road. I don't think there is another shop in Minneapolis that could even dream of offering the good honest service that I got at Bradan. Pros: great service! more

Okay, let me start by saying that I don't know a lot about cars and how much things are supposed to cost at a mechanic shop. I drive a Honda Accord so I first took it to a Honda dealership to get my brakes done. They just didn't treat me very well and gave me a really high price to fix my breaks. One of my friends told me about Bradan Automotive, so I stopped by. One of their mechanics looked at my car right when I got there and gave me a quote that was way better than the Honda dealership. The mechanic that worked on my car really took the time to explain to me what he was doing and why he had to do it. I feel as though I got great service from a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Ohand did I mention that I my brakes work great now! more
