I've been eating here for more than 25 years. I have always enjoyed Bonnie & Clydes pizza, (my favorite is the #1 meat eaters special, and also, the Italian Pie is to die for). Used to bring the kids when he still had a game room, and they also loved to play on the Kiddie Corral. I also remember back when he actually had a piano player. Hard to find a seat on weekends, it's that busy, and the only gripe I have is that the beer could be a little colder. With the money Ray makes, I know he can afford to turn the refrigeration down some. I know a lot of people who have told him this, but it falls on deaf ears. It still won't keep me from enjoying this Dixie Hwy. landmark. Refreshing to know that Ray hasn't fallen into the ""cheapen down"" of pizza like so many others have (papa john started this, and it's the nastiest pizza you can eat). Quit eating Domino's, Pizza Hut, Gatti's because they cheapened theirs down to keep up with a pizza that I wouldn't feed my dog. Don't eat at Wicks much, though it is good, it's not nearly as good as Bonnie & Clydes, even though it is only abut a mile from my house. I hope Ray keeps this place going another 35 years, because if he sells out, I'm sure it will never be as good as it is now. His pizza's taste the same, year in and year out, no stupid gimmicks to attract new customers. Actually, with the coupons he mails out, eating at Bonnie & Clydes is not at all expensive. I would recommend it to anyone (and have), east end or south end, you can't go wrong there.
Pros: Delicious pizza, great salads, sandwiches
Cons: been not cold enough
