It's a cool atmosphere with a great outdoor bar by the creek. Boats pull up to the landing and hungry sailors can grab a bite and a cold one. It has a beautiful view! more

This old and established eatery is well known for good food, a wide variety of refreshments and a super view of Shem Creek. With outdoor dinning, as well as full view windows inside, one can enjoy a great microbrewery beer or platter of superb fried local shrimp while the sun sets over an active portion of our saltwater marshes. more

The place has a very fun, relaxed southern vibe. The server was friendly, and the food came quickly. They had classic rock playing in the background and we sat in the back room surrounded by big windows overlooking the bay and shrimp boats. more

Pretty good. Steak sandwich was tasty. Fried green tomatoes were tart and crispy. Beer list was diverse and affordable. I'd come back for sure. more

Food is awesome most of the time. They seem to do well with certain items. The Seafood Wando is great, but the surf and turf could be better. The creme brulee has been great most times but was not good the last time. more

I stopped in at Shem Creek for one glass of wine...ended up having a very relaxing evening at the bar with a fabulous meal! The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful and immediately asked me what I wanted to drink. I was surprised that they have a decent wine list. I also ordered some crab dip (after seeing others devour plates of it), a salad, and some shrimp. The crab dip was delicious! Definitely the highlight of the meal...gosh, I actually want some more of that right now. more

I was a regular here from 95' till 99' when I moved away. Now that I am back in FL I drop in a few times a yr. This is where the locals eat. Awsome boat shaped bar. Very casual dining. Outdoor bar on the creek in season. Open fry-line where one can watch the chef's cooking. AWSOME fresh seafood. I just love this place and am sure to drop in whenever I am in the Charleston area. This was a great seafood restaurant . The scallops melted in my mouth ...they were so tender and yummy. The vegetables were fresh steamed (fresh green beans, squash, zuchini, carrots), and the mashed potatoes were delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Shem Creek. The atmosphere was very nautical and beachy. We received great service. more

I honestly can say it was one of the best meals we had during our week in Charleston. Good, fresh seafood. Interesting side dishes, and pleasant service. Nice setting on Shem Creek. Wish we had gone earlier in the week, so that we could have enjoyed it more than once. more

The food was really good with generous portions at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and the views of the creek are spectacular. Seafood is the specialty, but the fried chicken is excellent, too. more

Just had a great visit. Jared was our server and our meal was great. We live up the coast about 2 hours and visit Charleston about 3 time a year and this is a stop we eat at each time. Great food and service THANKS more
