Furnace Servicing 2/16/2014

Mark came to check out our 13 year old furnace. He was very frank in sharing his thoughts and concerns over carbon monoxide leakage and what our options were, namely, to repair or replace. He was courteous and answered all our questions without appearing to be in a rush. Thank you Mark. I hope you see this. more

Installation of a new furnace 2/16/2014

Keith K working with Jason A were very quick in putting in my new furnace in a few hours. I was happy to have Blue Dot schedule the installation in two days. The concern I had was they failed to connect a rubber hose properly which kept turning off the furnace so we were without heat for three days while another serviceman was able to find the error. Apart from the oversight, I'm very pleased with Blue Dot. more

Kudos for Don J. 2/16/2014

DJ is an extraordinary young man. He is quick, responsive, concerned, hard working, and willing to check back, go out all hours of the day or night. We had a faulty installation be others in the company and he didn't quit working on what might be wrong. He finally found it, a faulty installation of a small rubber hose that kept shutting down the furnace. This was all taking place in the snow storm of two weeks ago and 0 degree temperatures. Service Tech or Salesman? You decide .... 2/9/2014

Felt like I paid for a salesman to service my furnace. The company was responsive and able to schedule someone to come to the house quickly. I was charged $80+ dollars which is their standard service call rate. Service Tech pushed to have my entire furnace replaced before even troubleshooting the problem. He said it may end up being cheaper to just replace the furnace. Really? Really? Well, the replacement part cost $13 including shipping cost, so not true. Blue Dot was going to charge $275 for the replacement part. Ooooch. Big delta in cost. It's too bad businesses take advantage of consumers, especially when they really need service (i.e. no heat). more

New Heat Pump Installed 1/22/2014

Excellent Service! The guys were courteous and quick....on the coldest days of the winter, our new heat pump was installed in a day. They put down drop cloths in my basement, and even put plastic foot covers on so that snow muck didn't get into the house. Would definitely use them again...no B.S., either. more

Furnace Replacement 12/9/2013

Both Matt and Steve were exceptionally professional and friendly. They did a great job installing our furnace and explained everything about the system. They cleaned up their work area and took the old one away. I would definitely call Blue Dot again, Thank you! more
