This jewel in Wilshire Vista serves the best pizza I have ever tasted - and they are very creative with their menu. Our favorite pizza is Rosemary Comte Cheese and Potato - I know...

Worst

Girlfriend and I visited for the first time Sunday afternoon. Restaurant was 1/4 full when we entered. Didn't look very clean, and there was food on my chair. No biggie, though. H...

Great Food, Not So Great Service 6/11/2007

As much as I love Bloom's menu, there service always falls short. Its because of their menu, I have given Bloom more than a second. One recent visit had me waiting for my bowl of chili that was sitting on the counter for over 20 minutes. Another visit, my Diabetic father ordered a cheesburger on wheat and recieved a burger, no cheese, on a white bun. The server assumed because they were out of Wheat Buns white would do just fine. I hate to say, I have had one too many bad servers from a menu I just to appreciate. more

Avoid, unless you like crappy service 5/6/2007

I so wanted to love this place. more

Finally something with good, quality food and lovely atmosphere in my neighborhood! 5/3/2007

Casual/comfortable with a stylish flair and warm, attentive service. The soup of the day (spinach?) was really fresh and flavorful, and our burger salad was a really good burger on a bed of dark, colorful greens with a delicious vinaigrette. The pizza was a thin artisan type with I think caramelized onions, olives and goat cheese. There were many other specialty, quality ingredient pizza creations to try like the comte' cheese and thin potato slice pizza. Bloom is special in that they have accessible counter service for quick items like the cafe au lait (so good I'll go back just for that), and at night, the food, lighting and ambiance was nice enough for a friendly date night out. Good prices for real food. Pros: fresh, flavorful, affordable Cons: none so far more

Good food, poor service 4/16/2007

Had brunch there recently and was greatly disappointed by the haphazard service. It took us over 20 min to get our omelets! While the food is delicious and fresh, the restaurant seemed under-staffed and overwhelmed. Should be wonderful once they get their act together. more

best in every level 4/1/2007

Finally a place that has the audacity to break the old rules by creating an unique menu of smoothies, lemonades, orange or lemon flavored waffles and pancakes and many more. Very gracious service and best food from early morning to evening with their now new pizzas to go (or delivered). It was our third time today and we all agreed that Bloom Cafe remains our favorite destination. A mainly organic food for that kind of price in such unique set up is a rarity. Starting the day with a hot chocolate made with lavender and chai cannot be a bad day. Highly recommended. Pros: freshness, service, unique menu more

Worst Customer Service 3/31/2007

It was my first time visiting Bloom Cafe and I was very disappointed. I decided to give the chicken sandwich a try after reading the great reviews..but it was not tasty at all. I've had much better for cheaper $ as well. The service was not friendly at all, a simple ""hello, welcome to bloom"" or a ""thanks come again"" is always nice. I tried having a quick chat wih the owner but forget it, way too caught up with his favorite customers, won't talk to anyone else. The atmosphere is average at best. I will never visit nor recommend to any of my friends. Highly Overrated. I'd much rather visit CJ's down the street. more

Comming Up! 1/12/2007

New place quickly growing roots. Great food, even better motives- Organic! I've been eating there daily and have been rarely disapointed with service, which has recently been greatly improved. I met a girl there that drove from Long Beach just for the chicken sandwich!! $8 !!! haHA!! It's so nice to have this in the Wilshire Vista area. Pros: New and fresh and organic and in an up and coming area. LOW $. HIGH value. Cons: New.. give it time to work out the kinks. more

Yum breakfast! 12/27/2006

Bloom Cafe is fantastic -- my wife and I ate breakfast there on 12/24/06 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ingredients are fresh (mint lemonade made minutes after I ordered), the service quick, and the location pleasant. Food taste, however, was the greatest win -- my huevos rancheros were the best I've had recently and quite creatively prepared. I hope the owners open a location in Hollywood soon! Pros: Food, atmosphere more
