Name Changes 11/22/2005

Throughout my life time this restaurant has gone through more name changes. The inside stays the same as does the menu. My favorite is the chicken chow mein with their house noodles. I also really like the hot and sour soup. This place has food to go, delivery, and eat-in. Some nights are really busy, and it is hard to find a table. Other nights they are slower and the food is cooked fast and the service is very prompt. All in all I like it a lot. more

spicy but nice 9/13/2005

Black Pearl Chinese is an excellent Chinese restaurant. The food is amazing- you can dine in, carryout, or have it delivered. The service is fast and the food is piping hot no matter which option you choose. The food is authentic and tastes great- just enough spice and kick to make it yummy. My favorite is the General Tso’s chicken- some of the best I’ve ever had. The prices are fairly reasonable and when I don’t feel like cooking- calling them up and having food come to me is great. more

Black Pearl 8/26/2005

We love the Black Pearl, I have used their delivery for years during parties. We don't have to drink and drive, piles of delicious food arrives super fast and hot, and all of my guest raved about it and insisted we do it again every year. We love the sesame beef, moo shu pork, and the lover's eggplant. Yum. more

Skip this Chinese Restaurant 7/31/2005

The Black Pearl has two locations, one in Wedgewood and one in Shoreline. Unlike the Wedgewood location, the one in Shoreline is a full scale sit-down restaurant. It also offers delivery services. Unfortunately, you may be disappointed with the food. It tends to be quite bland. Overall, I recommend skipping on the Black Pearl and searching elsewhere for a restaurant gem. more
