I have been getting my haircut by Shlomy (formerly of Vespa Salon) since 2004, and he never ceases to amaze me. He is skilled and professional, freely offering his opinion when asked, or cutting and styling as requested. Unfortunately, I am moving away from NY now, and it deeply saddens me to think that I will not be able to get my haircut (and color) at the Biton Salon on a regular basis.
In addition to loving the haircut, the ambiance of the salon is fantastic! For those waiting, entertainment is available in the form of a chess/backgammon table, record player (bring your vinyl!), and espresso, wine and other refreshments. For those smokers who haven't quit yet (but should), and for those seeking some fresh air, there is a cozy little outdoor area.
