The crew that was doing my move really got to work. They were running about 15 minutes late, but called to let me know when they'd be there to get started. They got right to work and moved everything fast. They really know what they're doing - wrapped the furniture to keep it from getting scratched. Good moving company. more

Admittedly, I had an unusual job. I needed to have three cast iron radiators removed from the third floor of my house and taken to another location six miles away for pickup by a freight company. I called Big Brother Little Brother because I wanted to support a small, local business. more

My wife and I used Big Brother Little Brother moving back into Philadelphia. They are awesome. We were told the rate and that there was a three hour minimum. The rate was lower than those huge moving companies and the 3 hour minimum was good for us. They made sure to contact both my wife and I to confirm our moving day and the time. On the morning of the move they called to let us know where they were and how long it would take to get to us. The town we were moving from, Secane, isn't exactly the most well known community in Delaware County and yet they were there 20 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. The 2 gentleman got out of the truck putting the lifting belts on haha they meant business from the door. I tried to bring some things downstairs and was told leave it that is what we are here for. I mean just really genuinely nice guys. Before my wife and I knew it our apartment was cleaned out. When we initially moved to this place it took us 2 days at about 5 hours a day. These gentleman had the place loaded up on the truck in about an hour and 15 minutes. A 2 bedroom 2nd FLOOR apartment with a sofa, loveseat, chairs and the like in a little over an hour. After a 20 minute ride we were at the new place and in about an hour they had everything off the truck and in the new place. Let me say this I initially didnt want mover my wife had to convince me. She initially called and said that after talking to them on the phone they seemed really on the ball. They were. The invoice was clear about services performed, they insisted that we check the back of the large truck they used, their own truck by the way, to make sure everything was off. We finally got everything unpacked a week later. NOTHING BROKEN NOTHING. Glassware all in tact. Everything we left with accounted for. They are wonderful folks. They talk to you during the move as general conversation but not enough to slow them from their tasks. I recommend them to any and everyone who has to make a move whether residential or business. more

My daughter moved to a 3rd floor walk up on Sunday, June 19, 2011. The gentlemen they sent us were terrific! They called to confirm, at which point we told them that due to the wonderful Schuylkill Expressway, we were running a few minutes late. No problem. They adjusted their time and started around 2:15. They finished in just under two hours! Besides boxes upon boxes, my daughter had a California King size bed, a sofa and love seat, boxes filled with books and plastic bins of DVD's and tapes! We were extremely pleased with the service, and will recommend this enterprise to friends and family. We, of course, will call them again if we need another move.
