My wife and I used Big Brother Little Brother moving back into Philadelphia. They are awesome. We were told the rate and that there was a three hour minimum. The rate was lower than those huge moving companies and the 3 hour minimum was good for us. They made sure to contact both my wife and I to confirm our moving day and the time. On the morning of the move they called to let us know where they were and how long it would take to get to us. The town we were moving from, Secane, isn't exactly the most well known community in Delaware County and yet they were there 20 minutes before the scheduled arrival time. The 2 gentleman got out of the truck putting the lifting belts on haha they meant business from the door. I tried to bring some things downstairs and was told leave it that is what we are here for. I mean just really genuinely nice guys. Before my wife and I knew it our apartment was cleaned out.
When we initially moved to this place it took us 2 days at about 5 hours a day. These gentleman had the place loaded up on the truck in about an hour and 15 minutes. A 2 bedroom 2nd FLOOR apartment with a sofa, loveseat, chairs and the like in a little over an hour. After a 20 minute ride we were at the new place and in about an hour they had everything off the truck and in the new place.
Let me say this I initially didnt want mover my wife had to convince me. She initially called and said that after talking to them on the phone they seemed really on the ball. They were. The invoice was clear about services performed, they insisted that we check the back of the large truck they used, their own truck by the way, to make sure everything was off. We finally got everything unpacked a week later. NOTHING BROKEN NOTHING. Glassware all in tact. Everything we left with accounted for. They are wonderful folks. They talk to you during the move as general conversation but not enough to slow them from their tasks. I recommend them to any and everyone who has to make a move whether residential or business.
