Berkeley Eye Center

This was my first visit to the clinic. Quality of service was great and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Groff and her staff were very professional and very helpful. All my questions were answered and the whole team went out of their way to help me select a suitable frame. My eye examination and the entire process from check in to check out was a pleasant experience. A little suggestion will be to put clearer directions to the office in the lobby downstairs. All in all, excellent facility, excellent staff and excellent practice. Keep up the good works!! more

My experience here was the most enjoyable visit to an optometrist I have had in my life. The staff was very helpful, and quick to answer my questions and make sure I had all of the information I needed. Everything felt streamlined, especially with the ability to fill out most of the patient information online before visiting the clinic. They were very interested in making sure I got exactly the correct prescription I needed in each eye, and informed me of other ocular problems that I've had, but no other doctor told me about. My wait time for Dr. Groff to come to finish up the exam was less than three minutes, which is about half the time I have experienced elsewhere. I would highly recommend anyone to come to this office when in need of these services. Especially with the use of technology to make things much quicker. Appointment reminders, and eye glasses notifications, can be sent out via text message or call, and the majority of the office where patients are seen is in soft light, in case anyone is having their eyes dilated. more

My wait time was minimal.The staff was very kind and friendly as well as knowledgeable when it came to picking out a pair of glasses. Dr. Groff was made for this position! She is one of the kindest and sweetest doctors I've ever met. She made it very comfortable for me to choose to wear contacts again. She's very soft spoken and knowledgeable. I have been coming to the Memorial City location for a long time and each experience has been great. In the past Dr. Buettner has been wonderful and took time to explain all issues. Unfortunately he retired. Yesterday I went in for my yearly checkup with Dr. Groff. I was somewhat apprehensive going to a new doctor but she was wonderful. It appears that patient care is paramount for her. She spent time in explaining the examination procedure in detail and also took time to explain the overall health status of my eyes and the recommendation she was prescribing. I have to say that with Jenny doing all of the history and workup, I received a very thorough exam. I left feeling very comfortable knowing that my eyes are in good hands. Great visit. Dr Buetnner and staff were very informative, and helpful. First time in a long time I went to a Dr, and felt like they weren't rushing me out for next appt. They seemed concerned and as if they truly cared about my well being. I would highly recommend this Vision DR. to anyone..Look forward to getting my new glasses tomorrow..
