Not a local company! Support WA biz! 9/3/2002

Yes B&J has some good retail packaged ice cream...but have you ever eaten freshly made ice cream. B&J is a Vermont-based manufacturer of ice cream, why not support a true WA manufacturer or retailer of ice cream. Plus B&J isn't a retail store - its just a brand name ...I think it should be removed from this list personally. Pros: pretty packaging, variety Cons: Vermont-based co., expensive more

Cool flavors but is it made locally? Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream sold out. As far as local ice cream joints I think there are much better places out there, places that aren't identical chains. more
