I have a 7 month old, well bred, working German Shepherd that is super smart and energetic. She has been going to Bark's day care since she was 8 weeks old. I can't begin to tell you how much she loves going! Her tail starts wagging when we start the drive to Barks and when I drop her off it is still wagging! Wendy did basic obedience training with her @ 5 months of age. Rosalie is a big dog and without the manners of basic obedience, home life with her would be miserable. Rosalie is a delight to live with and should we decide to take it to the next level with training, I know we will follow the lead from Barks.
All of this is wonderful, but I need to share how personally marvelous this place is. My grandmother died rather unexpectedly in late August. I needed to board Rosalie as the drive home is over 700 miles. I called Barks late that Saturday afternoon and they answered with "" How soon can you get her here?"" I dropped Rosalie off and was on my way to Alabama within 3 hours of getting that terrible phone call. As horrid as that time was for me, knowing that Rosalie was happy and safe made it better.
If you have need of boarding, day care, grooming, training, supplies, resources or anything else dog related - the staff at Bark's 5th Avenue should be your first stop!
Pros: Full service, experienced, consistent, positive staff
Cons: None ( and I know that is hard to believe!)
