I hear the Groupon arrangement has wreaked some havoc on small businesses (perhaps we'll see Groupon go the way of Kozmo--remember them?)--and from another comment here, it looks like a lot of other people (like me) waited the full year to redeem the Baked Groupon--rotten time of year to cut into biz cash flow. Tell you what though, Groupon got me to Baked...and I'm giving these guys 5 stars+...you need an occasion cake? I recommend Baked.
Baked decorated a classy-looking cake with really nice icing work. As I didn't have an occasion for the cake at the time (around Halloween), I wrapped the box in foil & plastic and froze until the night before Thanksgiving. (Being bakers, the folks at Baked didn't suggest the freeze, but it worked out great.)
Thanksgiving cake :) Delicious! I've not had a finer cake...top notch...multiple layers, ganache filling, slivered almonds in the batter, flawlessly applied and very tasty buttercream. Lots of choices for cake and filling.
