Great firm for your spouse. He or she will run out of money before anything gets settled. You win and he or she loses. Highly recommended for the other side.

Hope your spouse hires them 6/15/2015

Run 6/15/2015

They prepared documents (maintenance, husband to pay attorney fees) without asking me. When I said NO to maintenance, they asked me several times if I changed my mind, they amended it several times as well as amending the attorney fee one. I was charged for the initial preparation AND all amendments. I NEVER saw some of what they prepared and they never filed it. When I needed them to ask my husband's attorney something they refused. more

don't hire them 6/2/2015

Will charge for everything even when you tell them no. Will charge for correcting their mistakes and charge when they don't make all the corrections. Answered a Petition without even asking me what my answers were, charged me to point out their errors, charged to amend the answers, charged again when they didn't make all corrections and charged again to amend the answers. charges for meetings that didn't take place. Don't hire them. Run, Run, Run more

Don't Hire Them 6/2/2015

Don't hire them. Will prepare answer to Petition without asking you for answers. Will charge you for emails to them correcting their answers and charge for correcting the Answer to Petition. Won't make all corrections so you send another email (they charge for it) they will make a few more corrections (charging again) eventually you give up trying to get them to make corrections. Will charge for documents you told them not to prepare, will amend that document and charge for it you never see the amendment though. Will amend it again and charge even though you told them no. Will charge for meetings that never happened. Won't acknowledge their mistakes. Will bleed you dry and when all your money is spent they quit. more

So-so service, disasterous results 2/12/2013

I had an attorney assigned to my case, who I met once. Every motion was handled by a succession of new associates. One attorney was so nervous that s/he couldn't speak in front of the judge, requiring encouragement from the judge. My assigned attorney stated that I was a candidate for spousal support -- after all, I quit my job to take care for our kids while my ex-husband worked, traveled, and got an MBA. I did not get support. My ex drained our bank account -- no action on my attorney's part. My ex attempted to get an order of protection against me, which cost me thousands to defend. He was not granted an emergency order -- it was an attempt to keep me out of my childhood home (see "Sword or Shield"). No action on my attorney's part. My attorney did get a settlement where I received the mandated amount of my ex-husband's retirement funds. This attorney attempted to get me to pay in full for a discounted rate out of those funds. I received mandated child support, but I had to agree to a disasterous split custody arrangement after painful mediation. At the end of 11 years of marriage, I got my children half time (which is terrible for them), little in the way of martial assets, no cash to live on while I established a new household, no furniture from the marriage, no spousal support even though I made less than 50% of what my ex-husband made. No spousal support. I would have to say that service was mediocre. I got a divorce, but not my kids. As mom, it hurts to allow their father, who hates me, to raise my children half the time. It will cost me $$$$$ to change custody. I am very unhappy with the boiler-plate divorce decree, incorrect information regarding custody and fighting over holidays (unclear in the divorce decree) and caring for my children whilst my ex-husband goes on business trips. more
