Awesome sandwhich, even better if you like Thai food 2/3/2007

Heard that this place has the best sandwiches. I ordered the barb-b-que pork sandwhich. The meat inside is that great combo of sweet and salty. It's loaded with vegetables so for those of you who don't like eating your weeds, this sandwhich may just make you change your mind. The bread is fresh baked -- all crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I recommend trying one of their canned drinks like mango or leechee. The place really has only but a small corner for customers to sit (at least on the Saturday that I went). It's full of different thai drinks, desserts, and foods and 9 different types of sandwiches to choose from. It took a little while for me to receive my order but it was worth the wait. Most importantly, this place is inexpensive! What a great deal - a great price for a great meal. Pros: Selection, Location, Inexpensive Cons: Little bit of a wait, not a lot of seating, cash only more

Excellent banh mi 3/15/2005

I stumbled into this cute French-Vietnamese bakery one afternoon and discovered one of my favorite things to eat: Banh Mi. It's a Vietnamese version of the po' boy -- my favorite is shrimp cakes loaded up with jalopenos, bean sprouts and more veggies, all on a fresh-baked sub roll. Best part? These massive sandwiches also only cost between $2-$4. Plus, you can pick up authentic Vietnamese coffee here, along with other sundries. There's only a few tables, which are usually pretty dirty--so don't expect to sit down--but for to-go service, this makes for an ideal lunch spot. Pros: Great sandwiches, Cheap prices Cons: Nowhere to sit more
