Avoid- I was sat in front of the glasses storage so had waiters bending over infront of me- I spent $75 for a rubbery lobster tail, uncooked veg, and a glass of water.. :(

When I go out to eat, I expect to pay a lot for my meal. I also expect to get a lot of food for that money. I'm a bit of a foodie and only want the best. Well, this place did deliver a great meal that I really enjoyed, only the portion was so small that I left feeling hungry still. The price wasn't worth the meal. However, the ambiance is very nice. more

Great Food and Service 8/23/2011

A friend and I wanted a great meal before a show at Ceasars. Boa was recommended and I am very happy about the decision to go. Our steaks were cooked exactly as requested, and the spinach side and truffled mac and cheese side were amazing. Our server was knowledgable, not only about our food but about the show we were going to and what to expect. We loved our dining experience here, but its worth mentioning that it is not cheap. Our meal was just shy of $200 for 2 people...and we didn't come close to ordering the most expensive items on the menu. The Kobe steak and lobster tails was at market price of $150! Lastly, we went at 6pm on a Sunday and it was nearly empty, which could account for the speedy service and attention, but who knows. I would go again for sure. more

some ups and downs...mostly ups though 2/8/2010

If you can handle the trek all the way through the Forum Shops at Caesar's it's worth it to pay BOA a visit. The bar has a hip, lounge-like setting and the couples' booths allow you to slide next to one another for the meal. The escargot appetizer was probably the best I have ever had, and the petite filet came out a perfect medium rare with plenty of rubs and sauces to choose from. The kobe flat iron had good flavor but given the lack of fat on the cut they might have improved it by marinating or tenderizing it in advance - I had to ask for a sharper knife to hack through it. Also the cream corn was extremely bland (the waitress agreed) but the truffled mac and cheese was a more than suitable replacement. Pros: great atmosphere, service, menu selection Cons: a few misses in the execution dept. more

WoW, This place is good! 7/3/2009

My husband had a $12 Burger that was delish with a fresh spring salad that he surprising enjoyed. I was a little more adventurous, I had the $45 stimulus special (no joke) The yummiest flaky rolls, Sautéed French onion soup, Filet minion medallions, mashed potatoes, Cinnamon sugar donut holes with dunking sauces. It was the best meal I had all year, and the extra perks, I dropped my fork and the bus boy ran over with a new fork instantly, when we were finished, the second we set our napkins on the table the bus boy brought our bill. This was big for me, I hate sitting and waiting for the bill, I want to leave as soon as I’m done eating. Constant refills on tea, the second I had my last sip of beer I was offered another. They were very attentive, and are plates were clean as bone when left. A+++ Pros: We cleaned our plates Cons: high priced wines and beers more

LOVE BOA! 5/5/2009

We went to BOA during our honeymoon. We started out the evening by talking to one of the chef's of the evening who made some excellent recommendations. Followed by a visit from Sherman who recommended some things from Sushi Roku's menu since we told our waiter we were big sushi fans. Sherman was extremely helpful and personable, as was everyone we dealt with. Next Brian, the manager of the evening, came over to recommend a Scotch for my husband and let him try a couple to help him make a decision. The food was beyond our expectations on all fronts from the sushi starters to the delightful dessert. We had the Cesaer salad, John Dory, the bone-in filet, chipotle dusted corn, lobster mashed potatoes, and banana cake for dessert. Pros: the food, the service Cons: the location more

Walked out before even dining 10/12/2008

Too many other great restaurants in Vegas to be bothered with this pompous and condescending place no matter how their food is. Reservations mean nothing at BOA even if you make them a month in advance and confirm. The staff and manager there seem to forget the premise that you are the customer and paying for this experience, rather they give you the impression they are doing you a favor to allow you to dine with them. If you want to go to BOA to be seen and are willing to accept attitude and substandard service this may be your place but I walked out even before entering after the rudeness we experienced from the hostess and manager. What a waste of prime space in the Forum Shops area !! more

Favorite Steakhouse! 7/25/2008

BOA Steakhouse is my favorite restaurant, that and Delmonico Steakhouse, and is absolutely wonderful! If you want a $5.99 all-you-can-eat buffet, this is not the place for you. If you're looking for an upscale, classy, elegant dining experience, head here. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Some may consider it pricy, but I consider it money well sent. We enjoyed it so much, we plan on returning everytime we visit Vegas. We had soup and salad, steak, lobster, and every sides (shared),. and dessert. We also had martinis and a bottle of wine. Plan to stay a few hours to really enjoy the whole experience! Pros: Truly fine dining more

please dont go here 6/29/2008

We had the worst experience here. This place is an imposter. Trying so hard to be hip, and falling flat on it's face. The food is mediocre at best, and the service staff is unorganized and sans ettiquette. They all huddled around the service stations and talked too loudly right by our table. The wore no smiles, and were not graceful in the dining room. It was like watching monkeys try to wait tables. The food is the biggest culprit in this subterfuge of a restaurant. The plates looked sloppy, and the sides were just plain not good. Ive never had such poorly cooked asparagus, it was burnt and limp. The cocktails are a big scam too. They were like 14 bucks and they all were way too sweet and unbalanced in flavor. Their signature cocktail; BOA fusion, tasted like brown sugar and too much rum. It was actually kinda gross. About the service: Our waiter was high faluting, and pushy. He tried the hard sell on us for the wine, and got snobby when we declined. Once he took our order we didnt see him again until he brought the check. His assistant did all the work, and the assistant was very unpersonable. He said nothing to us. Save your money and go to another place. Save yourself the hassle. This place is bad. \r Charly Cons: all more

Over priced for food 6/25/2008

Had reservation was seated right away. The place is really nice and was excited about this place. Wife and I order salads I had wedge salad was good Wife order a tomato salad and it was good.Waiter brought 1 roll each for us and that was it. I order chicken with chipolte lime corn. The chicken was fair the corn was good not my favorite, my wife order the salmon no side said it was good but had better. Service was ok waiter was alright. For the price we will not go back here. There better food in Vegas than here. Pros: Real nice place Cons: Overpriced for food and service more

Excellent customer service 6/21/2008

Having dinner at Boa steakhouse was an excellent experience. I had the petite filet mignon and my husband had the rib eye. Both were very very good and cooked exactly to order. You can get steaks with a rub or sauce or your choice. What we liked was that even though they were some fancy dishes on the menu, they also had the simple steakhouse items like fries, mashed potatoes, grilled veggies, etc. which suited our tastes better. The waiter provided excellent service and once he found out that we had just gotten married that day, he offered to take a picture and the restaurant even gave us free dessert. The manager Eric was also especially pleasant and attentive making sure we were enjoying ourselves. On top of the great food and service, they really made us feel special on our special day. more

stop! it's no good! 6/20/2008

Came here once in March of '05. It was really good. My most recent visit was like going to a totally different restaurant. Our waiter ""Grant"" was completely unfriendly and regarded us as if he had sized us up as a table not worth his complete attention. The food was nothing even resembling what we had the first time. They must have changed chefs or maybe downgraded the quality of ingredients or something. The steaks were prepared fine, but the prices were higher. The Caesar salad was horrible. Truly an affront to good taste. Unbalanced in flavor and kinda gritty. Prepared tableside by our waiter who might as well have been a wet mop, he barely said anything to us as he rushed through the salad preparation. The side dishes were all out of whack. Asparagus: Overcooked. Mushrooms: Undercooked Mashed Potatoes: Flavorless. \r The cocktails were good, and the wine list is impressive but, big deal. There are a lot of great bars in Las Vegas. Dessert was way below average. I heard so much about the donut holes, and they come out burnt. Literally burnt. They tried to hide it with the cinammon sugar they toss them in. Deplorable. The creme brulee was average at best. Ours even had a soggy patch on top. This is not cool. When we told our server about it, he said with a completely insincere smile ""I'm so sorry about that."" Of course nothing was done about it. It was really a disappointing experience. I will never go back, or reccomend this place to my friends, or accept an invitation to this place. In fact I will try to talk anyone out of going there if I get the chance. \r \r Orson Cons: Service, Food more

Best Steak!! 5/27/2008

The decor is amazing and the service was exceptional! We asked our waiter questions about the new development on the strip and he was attentive to get them all answered. This place is extremely expensive but well worth it if you want to splurge. The Boa Infusion martini is the best martini I've ever had! The only negative thing I would say is I did find a couple shells in my crab salad. Pros: Exceptional Service, Amazing Food, Ambience more

This BOA will Squeeze every penny out of your wallet! Do Not Go Here! 4/14/2008

We are from Boston and love to eat at great places. We do not mind spending high prices on food, the martinis are $15 each, not a big deal... The place has a cool hip atmosphere, very nice.\r \r Here is the problem. I ordered a Filet ($44) and a lobster tail with that (on the menu it said market price) When the bill came, my meal ALONE cost $119! \r \r The lobster tails (just the lobster tail, not the entire lobster) are $75 each, but on the menu it says Market. I asked the waiter when we got the bill why my meal was so high and he told me they charge a flat rate of $75 per lobster tail, he also admitted that it was very high.\r \r My point. If they have a flat fee on something, it should be stated in the menu. They lie to their customers by omission - I would never go here again and will do anything I can so they stop doing this to other people.\r \r Pros: Cool hip place Cons: $75 per lb for lobster. You better have done good at the tables before you go here! more

Can't Wait To Go Back 1/1/2008

I was here in Nov 2007 for my ""wedding reception"". I had a small wedding, so 6 of us went to dinner here to celebrate. It was the perfect choice. I absolutely loved it. The decor was very nice, the yellow label champagne was delicious. We had an attentive waiter with a sense of humor. The portions were nice and large. The sides definitely feed 3 people. I wish there were more places in Florida like this steak house. Meat eaters rejoice! Pros: Delicious food, great service, good location Cons: It's a bit noisy more

Potatoes, Petite Filet, Donuts 8/3/2007

Ok. i know its a steakhouse, and the steaks are absolutley wonderful. However, short of selling my first born child, i would do anything for the bacon cheddar mashed (they might call them smashed) potatoes. I was there Monday night and I cant stop thinking about them. I also loved loved loved my petite filet. It was perfectly sized so i could devour my potatoes and dessert. My husband had theporterhouse and it was huge. If you go, you must try (did i mention the potatoes) the donut holes. i know everyone has them it seems but these were heavenly and the light brown sauce was divine! Plus our waiter was really nice to us! I am really trying to talk my husband into going to the one in LA but i heard that they dont have the donuts. Darn. :) Pros: Food is delicious, staff, view Cons: pricey but not for vegas more

Wonderful Food 7/21/2007

I have never tasted such fabulous creme brulee as we had at the Boa Steakhouse. Everything else was wonderful including the atmosphere, waiter and drinks but the dessert was by far the most impressive. We will be back every chance we get! Pros: Food Cons: a little expensive more

Best Filet Ever!! 6/12/2007

I have to say...I had the best Filet that I have ever had at BOA!! AMAZING...the appetizers were great, the bread and butter were evern delicious. The steak was so flavorful and tender. The ambiance is very nice, and they have an excellent outside dining area overlooking the strip. I will definitely come back to BOA. Pros: Foor, Service, Ambiance Cons: A Bit Pricey...but worth it more
