Avoid taking car in for service here if you can. 12/17/2007

I hate going to this place. It seems that everytime that I go to take my car in, they find something that urgently needs to be fixed and I end up having to spend another $1000. Don't get me wrong, I understand that there is regular maintenance costs. However, I take very good care of my care and it has low mileage so I'm perplexed as to the amount of things that they've needed to replace. What's more, the workmanship is less than great. Simple things like making sure that the sideview mirror is put on straight when replacing it would seem intuitive. more

BMW OF BELLEVUE IS THE BEST 5/20/2007

BMW of Bellevue is the best. I have purchassed several vehicles from this dealer and they are always fair. In service they always treat me great. The vehicles are complicated and if something goes wrong in service give them a chance to fix it. They have great people in their dealership. John more

BMW dealer , Bellevue, WA 3/18/2007

I have owned bmw(s) for 18 years. I brought my X5 to service to check on stearing nocking sound. IN 2 weeks of constant reminders to Service rep., I have received the call that they have replaced smth in stearing. When I got the car back the allignment was off completely, my seats were dirty , the front pannel has been damaged and some plastic was wrapped off( as I had been shown at dealership in Richmond later). I have called to service rep , explained the issues but...he was pretty rude and etc...I have never go back. The park of Bwms is huge in Bellevue and this dealership has lost the BMW quality of service. VERY VERY MUCH dissapointed as i have to drive my car for service almost 120 miles from Kirkland!!! more

BMW of Bellevue has the worse service dept anywhere 9/1/2005

Almost every time after using BMW of Bellevue Service, I have had to take my car back within a week for them not fixing the problem. From overfilling coolant, to bringing my car to me with the side rail actually dragging on the ground. The list goes on and on. We have a Tahoe and a Chevy truck. Their service has been impeccable. more

Lackluster! 8/18/2005

BMWs are known and accepted as "The Ultimate Driving Machines". For the price you pay and the product you get, you'd assume that the dealerships would deliver accordingly. Not the case with BMW of Bellevue. I worked with Mark Harrington and the Sales Manager (forget his name) about six months ago. I expressed interest over the phone about a specific car in their inventory I found in Auto Trader. I specifically told Mark what my maximum price was and I was not willing to come in unless this price was doable. He said this was absolutely doable. I don't like wasting time with anyone and my time is very valuable, so taking their word I came down drove the car and was ready to buy, right there and then. Mark pulled the old "let me talk to the manager" thing and he came back with a new price that was SIX thousands over my maximum price. I said, Mark, we agreed that I would not pay more than “x” and he said "I know, but that's all he's willing to do". Clearly I was had, and I was insulted. I said "So who lied to me, you or him, to agree with my price on the phone?". He said it was him (the manager). I said, you go straighten it out with him then or I'm walking. He shook his head and said "That's all he's willing to do". I left, feeling insulted. I called the manager directly to tell him what had happened and he told me that Mark had never mentioned my high price to him and began to tell me that the price I was asking was way too high anyway. (The price I chose for this car was the AVERAGE price in Autotrader for the area, which was very reasonable). Never the less, I was had and I refuse to do business with this kind of flakiness. Having been a BMW owner for years, I purchased a nearly identical vehicle (my 5th BMW) for the price I wanted from Park Place right across the street the very same day! Those guys run a great shop and I'll probably write a review accordingly. more

Do the service reps get commission on maintenance 6/26/2005

I quickly stopped taking my car to BMW Bellevue. The service people kind of annoyed me. Only the person assigned to my file would help me, even if they were the only one busy. Then they seemed to try to up sell me on oil change services. I put up with that for a while, because they are really convenient and clean (I'll admit it). However I had to break free after they told me I needed a $650 service because they could see in their records that it was due. I should add, I bought the car used and the previous owner seemed to have all the maintenance done at the dealer. When I took my car to another mechanic to have this service done (at a significantly cheaper price), I was told that it definitely didn't need to be done. In fact, it appeared it had just been completed (probably right before it was sold). Based off that experience, I think BMW Bellevue depends a little too much on what their computer says and they aren't really looking at the cars. That was enough for me. I already knew I was paying too much for convenience, but to pay too much for people that didn't know what they were doing isn't right. more
