The absolute worst moving company in history. Broke my landlords front door and skipped out on payment. The driver and one mover nearly got into a fight during the process. I was glad to just have them leave.\r \r DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! more

PLEASE READ THIS before considering this company. They are dishonest and a sloppy company and we have had a very unpleasant experience using them. Aviv of Waltham had our stuff for removal, storage and delivery so they were responsible the whole time. Amongst our things we left a locked fireproof box because it was too heavy for us to take for the summer. When our stuff was delivered they did not bring back the box, when I asked for it some days later they refused to accept it had not been delivered and did not respond to my calls or emails. We queried the bill with the credit card company and the box suddenly appeared without explanation. When we got it it had been obviously deliberately broken into, our things messed up and items stolen. The police are investigating this as a criminal case and have said that their security is very poor, it is either that someone walked in to the storage or it was someone working for the company. They have never contacted us to offer apologies, compensation or even just support. If you care about your things NEVER USE THIS COMPANY they are dishonest, sloppy and completely uncaring. I am suing them, they should not be able to get away with allowing people's belongings to be deliberately broken and stolen. more

The guys from Aviv Moving and Storage were amazing. We spoke to their sales team and everything was arranged .The movers arrived on time and within an hour they had everything packed up and we were ready to go. Not a scratch nor anything broken. These guys were cool and professional and with their good sense of humor made it a fun experience for us .To watch these guys haul boxes on their backs was unbelievable. After dealing with a recent moving company in our neighborhood before who broke a third of our stuff we had a bitter experience on all other moving companies and were very cautious about all . My only concern was that due to some reason they did not accept payment thru card on that day and I had to arrange for a cashier???s cheque from my bank which caused some inconvenience otherwise their service was not bad. more

I called up Aviv Moving and Storage on a a recommendation of a friend and the sales rep depart was very friendly and helpful in providing us all the knowledge we required as it was supposed to be our first move. I was very much convinced and decided to go forward and book them for the coming weekend. On the day of the move 2 man crew arrived at our doorstep just on time and started to work in coordination and made the entire moving process go with ease. They were extremely helpful, timely, and accommodating to my ever changing needs. With little direction and a buddy there to help coordinate, they boxed up all the stuff and crammed it into one container. The price was right on and the service was well and exceptional. We had called Aviv Moving and Storage to move us through recommendation of a colleague who shared a good moving experience .On the moving day 4 sturdy movers from Aviv Moving and Storage came to our apartment and they were good with their work as they successfully and carefully moved my piano up 50 steep stairs without any complain. I recommend this company since they were fast, efficient and clear communicators. My only concern was that they somewhat did not accept payment through card and I had to arrange for a cashier?s cheque from my bank which took away my precious time other than that the moving experience was good and we had no complaints. more

We've used Aviv Moving and Storage twice now - once for a cross town move with more than a little complexity and a second time to move some heavy items in a follow up about a year later. This time I gave them the keys, headed to work for a meeting thinking I would meet them at 12:00. At 11:00, half-way through my meeting, I got a call ? and came to know that they were all done . On both these times we had been incredibly impressed with their professionalism, timeliness, and the ease with which they worked .. Aviv is the only moving company we'll recommend to anyone looking out for relocation. more

Aviv Moving did a fantastic job when they moved me from a three bedroom apartment (with roommates) in Brighton into my own one bedroom apartment, also in the city. Despite being a bit late, they were incredibly efficient, professional, courteous and accommodating. Moti was also very thorough, transparent and helpful when i initially scheduled the move. I highly recommend Aviv Moving & Storage. They helped me move my girlfriend's things from storage to our new home. I called them because their prices were very affordable. They organized the boxes in the garage just the way I would have wanted them (with very little instructions from me). My only complaint: they were really efficient! They finished the job in two hours. more

On the moving day the guys from Aviv Moving and Storage were great: fast, meticulous and inexpensive. Their initial ""not to go over"" quote was sort of high but the total cost ended up being much less - a little over half -- so nothing was to be scared about.. They took great care with their work and were very professional and courteous. These guys showed up right on time, were very careful moving furniture, were able to get big items through tight spaces, and were efficient. too . These guys from Aviv Moving and Storage are just awesome. From the first call to the final follow-up, every person we dealt with was friendly, polite, jovial and helpful. Thank God we got them. They swept in with four strapping lads half an hour ahead of schedule which was a bit hectic but wrapped everything securely, moved it all and unloaded it all without a scratch...and all this in pouring rain (everything wrapped to keep it all dry). And they came in well under the price quote. The extra money we gave as tip was converted into a donation to the organization. Move with them and you won't be sorry and also recommend them to friends am sure they won?t worry. more

Great Job and very professional. What a way to start the new year. My partner and I had to move his and my apartment into a new apartment all in the first week of Jan. They make it look easy to move. Things went very smoothly. The stress was lifted when I chose this company, we thought we would never be finished in time so we picked their all inclusive Platinum package, where they came in and did all of the packing for us. Delivery was prompt and most importantly our belongings arrived safe and in tact. Best service ever. more

Moving is stressful at best. Aviv Moving and Storage made it moreso. From the start, they tried to ""upsell"" me, encouraging me to hire 3 movers for a very small move. They arrived half an hour early. I told them I was not ready and the foreman really pushed (knocked, called a couple of times), to get me to let them begin, regardless of the fact that they were early. The second mover was very nice, but it seems had been instructed to go slowly, taking one small box at a time. I had large, very square living room furniture that would probably not have all fit up the narrow, winding staircase to my new attic apt., but Aviv handled the situation very poorly, and did not seem to have a lot of skill navigating challenging spaces. They struggled for a long time before determining that none of the living room set would fit (thus running up the bill even more). The furniture therefore had to be left in the yard and naturally they were happy to sell me expensive plastic coverings which I was stuck buying. I was furious. The whole process of moving a one-bedroom apt.'s worth of furniture from one apt. to another that was maybe a mile and a half away took several hours. This all happened a number of years ago, I was only prompted to write this as I am moving again, and Aviv is the first sponsored hit that comes up on Google. I thought people should know. more

From the beginning, the sales rep was flexible in every way in scheduling our move. On the moving day, we had the pleasure of working with 3 other movers who did their work with great integrity and dedication and they appeared to be the most good-natured moving guys on the planet. They were quick, efficient, and extremely respectful with our things.
