Mr Larson demonstrated very fine knowledge during the inspection and explained several things to me. I would recommend him. The reason I gave one star less was that he takes notes using his camera only and if he has not taken a pic he can miss something on the report later. A couple of things got missed on our report which we somehow remembered later. So if you are not going to be there, there is a chance somethings will get missed on the report. more

Professionalism! 8/21/2013

Mr. Larson is a real professional. He seems to really care about his job and wants to tell you as much about your home as he can. He has morals and ethics and this is very important, especially in today's world where these character traits are sometimes forgotten. I would highly refer Mr. Larson as a #1 inspector. more

I am a Realtor and have recommended Ken to my clients for several deals and always appreciated his thoroughness with inspections. I was purchasing a property for myself and OF COURSE wanted him to inspect my house. Ken is one of the best there is - easy to work with, easy to understand and delivers excellent service every time. I am doing business from out of state which can be challenging. After reaching out to about a dozen inspectors, I connected with Ken and began moving forward immediately. He is fast and effective - great communication and throughly professional. Seems to be a great resource and has brought me a peace of mind. more

Home Inspection 5/12/2013

I had Ken come out and do a pre-sheetrock home inspection on my house. He was very detailed oriented, pointing out exactly what had taken place, explained what hazards may arise from the mistakes, and explained the proper way to install and/or fix the issues. Ken’s inspection report was outlined with pictures, manufacture’s specifications, and a paragraph for each mistake found. Our builder had us email Ken’s report to them and has used it as a guideline to correct the mistakes found. more

I found Ken through a realtor and luck. There were so many inspectors to pick from but thankful I found him. He did an excellent job. Pictures were very clear and explained everything. Would highly recommend this inspector! more

Ken was excellent!. He was professional and personable. I am a first-time buyer and understandably nervous. During the inspection he took me around pointing out stuff to me that was just cosmetic and those things that need to be repaired. He explained things about the house I never had thought about. I am now comfortable and feel like I am knowledgable about what I am buying. His report came the next morning and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend him to home buyers! more

Very Satisfied! 1/17/2013

Ken arrived ten or fifteen minutes early and got right to work. I am a first time home buyer and it is a new home. I asked if he minded me following him so I could learn, to which he was inviting. He was very educational and you could tell he had great experience and knew just what to look for. He also provided general maintenance tips and was just a very sociable person. Prompt report the next morning at 8:45am via email. Good old classic professionalism...gotta love it more

Excellent knowledge, explanation 1/14/2013

I had my inspection with Ken from Austin Home inspection Services last week. This is our first time buying a house and many of the processes are new to us. Ken was very patient with all of my questions, and showed me all of the items that needed to be addressed, as well as places that are not yet a problem, but have potential to be a problem. Ken is very articulate of the issue, and doesn't mind explaining things for comprehension on the part of his client. Excellent work. more
