I went there for the first time, and I was surprised by the friendliness and professionalism of staff. I expected the usual snobbery of high end salons, but there was none. No pressure to buy products, reaxing atmosphere too. Marissa Delory was very nice and gave me great suggestions. Highly recommended! more

It's been 2 years now since I've been coming to Atelier Aveda. I know it's really hard to get in, but why would you go somewhere that's not busy. I'm a totally attention hog and when it comes to my hair to make me feel good, this place rocks! I have people stopping me all the time and asking where I get my hair cut and colored and I love it. Amber and Marissa Domino are the best! I always see the manager, chinese with blue hair zipping around (sorry, don't know her name), making sure all the customers are taken care of, she's always in a good mood and laughing. The ladies in front are alwas helpful and very friendly. They've given me the best advice. PS..love AVEDA products! My stylist is Jennifer B. for both cuts and color. She is superb in both areas. I feel like she really tries to give me a style/color that fits my individual needs. She is very talented and experienced - I usually don't have to say much in order for her to understand what I want. She is also a very smart, interesting, and down-to-earth person, so I always enjoy my visits. The price is higher for her services, as she is one of the top colorists there. I feel that it is worth it, because I like getting my hair just right, rather than saving a couple bucks. more

Particular about your stylist? If so, then you simply MUST ask for Marissa DeLory. I've never before been so pleased with a haircut. She listens to her clients, gives valuable input, and her haircuts are outstanding. The salon is small and tends to be a little crowded, but Marissa is able to work through that without losing her attention to detail. I have recently started going to Aveda to get facials. Sandra does a fabulous job. You leave feeling relaxed and vibrant. I now go regularly to keep up the improved condition of my skin. more

that they will let you know where shoji went if you ask. I can't recommend you go to this place, but at least they are honest. more
