Assisted Living Foundation of America (?ALFA?) is a nonprofit corporation which is exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. ALFA, which has no stockholders and is governed by a board of directors, was organized to acquire, rehabilitate, sell, or operate affordable housing for moderate to low-income, elderly or families.
