Angel Sitters are fantastic. As an ex-pat in Houston, we have no family in town, so we rely on Angel Sitters for both evening and day sitters; we don't know how we'd survive without them! We've used their services for 11 years and we've never been disappointed. All of the ladies who sit for Angel Sitters are all lovely, extremely professional, punctual and most importantly genuinely enjoy being with the children. We were a bit nervous at first about using an agency with lots of different staff, but after we tried out some of the sitters, we quickly found a couple that the kids really enjoyed being with, and now it's almost always the same ladies who sit for us, so the kids know them really well and get very excited about them coming to sit for us. more

I highly recommend Angel Sitters Nanny Service. In the ten years I’ve known Ms. Popy, she has truly become a part of our family. She began watching my grandson since he was a new born baby and now he is 6 years old. Between my daughter who is a single mother, myself and Ms. Popy my Grandson is well taken care of. We have even added her name to the emergency list at the school in case he needs to be picked up. Whether you need a permanent Nanny or just need a night out on the town I would and have recommended Angel Sitters to my close family and friends. more

Angel sitters is the best! I have lived in Houston for 2 years and finding a reliable sitter in Houston was emotionally the most difficult thing I have had to do. We have used Angel Sitters for over a year. We have always found the sitters to be professional and trustworthy. The great thing is that it is possible to get sitters with only a couple of days notice. They also have reasonable rates. Popy has been sitting for our family for two years now. I never really wanted to leave my children with anyone, but as you know, things just come up. That is when I decided to use Angel Sitters. Once I met Popy I felt very comfortable with her. She has always been very professional and punctual. Sometimes, we may call a little late, but she always tries to fit us in somehow. The children love it when she or one of her sitters comes over. She takes great care of them, and for that we are thankful. We will be using her service until our children can sit themselves! We received a message Friday night at 9pm that our sitter for Saturday evening was ill and there would be no replacement. \r \r We called the next morning to ask why a replacement would not be provided. After all, we had made this reservation a week in advance to ensure we were covered. Popy never bother to return my wife’s call, but I finally got her on the phone. I assume because I called with a different phone. She explained that you are assigned a sitter when you make the reservation. If that sitter becomes unavailable you are out of luck. There is no consideration for when the reservation was made.\r \r She said “what do you want me to do call another family and tell them they must cancel their plans for you”. I responded “only if that family made their reservation after we did”. \r \r The most disturbing part of this experience was how it was handled. Popy seemed disinterested and indifferent to our situation. I guess it is easier for her to ignore an unhappy customer. It almost seemed like we got the shaft because we did not know her as well as other families.\r \r She went so far as to hang up on me. I was never rude or offensive. \r \r If you decide to use Angel Quitters please be aware that they may drop you at the last moment. I have known Popy, the owner, since we were kids growing up in New Jersey. We have stayed in touch through the years (I am now all most 50). I am raising a family as a single dad in California. I have 4 kids, who are now between 11and 17 years of age. Over the years, I have called upon Angel Sitters when my wife and I wanted to get away on vacations. We FLEW Popy out and she stayed a week at a time.\r \r Lets put it this way, my kids STILL ask when Popy is coming back! They loved her and she treated them like they were her own. She is like an extension of our family. She still keeps in touch directly with the kids on occassion. You can't ask for a more reliable and caring service. I have used Angel Sitters since 2005, when my oldest was 3 months old. Our oldest is now 4 and our youngest is 19 months old. I have used a total of 6-7 sitters from Angel Sitters and have been pleased with each and every one of them. There was only one sitter who didn't return, and that was due to our overactive Lab. The sitters we have had have ranged from the ""grandmother"" to the ""student."" They have been professional, caring, attentive and thorough. The owner sits for us more often than not. We are crazy about her, as are our children. She will go the extra mile to work with you and your children. She is open to any concerns and/ or suggestions as to how Angel Sitters can best provide their services.
