We received a message Friday night at 9pm that our sitter for Saturday evening was ill and there would be no replacement. \r

We called the next morning to ask why a replacement would not be provided. After all, we had made this reservation a week in advance to ensure we were covered. Popy never bother to return my wife’s call, but I finally got her on the phone. I assume because I called with a different phone. She explained that you are assigned a sitter when you make the reservation. If that sitter becomes unavailable you are out of luck. There is no consideration for when the reservation was made.\r

She said “what do you want me to do call another family and tell them they must cancel their plans for you”. I responded “only if that family made their reservation after we did”. \r

The most disturbing part of this experience was how it was handled. Popy seemed disinterested and indifferent to our situation. I guess it is easier for her to ignore an unhappy customer. It almost seemed like we got the shaft because we did not know her as well as other families.\r

She went so far as to hang up on me. I was never rude or offensive. \r
\r
If you decide to use Angel Quitters please be aware that they may drop you at the last moment. To me it’s just not worth the risk and there are plenty of services that run a more professional business. Good luck.\r
