I just had my home cleaned by Ame's. The cleaning was okay but my floors were so sticky that I had to go over them with a wet mop. To their credit, they did a great job neatening...

After having a few other cleaning companies/individuals not provide the dependable and thorough service I needed, a friend recommended Ame's Cleaning to me. Ame's service to our family for the past 18 years has been a life changer. They are unbelievably dependable - only 1 day in all those years were they not able to show up as planned (due to iced over roads). They clean thoroughly in the time they are given to clean (even better than when another company came back twice to clean appropriately). They are trustworthy and kind. I highly recommend their service. more

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The consistent quality service and reliability is why I have been a customer for many years. I love the days when I come home and the ladies have power cleaned my house---it smells and looks fresh and clean. Ame has always been accommodating when I have had to change an appointment and always professional and friendly. As a small business owner myself the dependability and professionalism of Ame's helps me to be a more relaxed working Mom. Awesome company!! more

Ame's Cleaning has been our housekeeping service for 4 years and they are outstanding: four star! I have used maid services for the last 25 years, and Ame's offers me the best in professional expertise, both in management and in house-cleaning skills, while maintaining a personal touch that is so important when you allow someone to come into your home on a long-term basis. I speak regularly with Ame, and one of her senior housekeepers has been the regular lead of a 2-person cleaning team in our home for 3.5 years. I feel confident that they respect my priorities and meet my needs. When I have to reschedule, they are always accommodating. Ame's supports local charitable causes, environmental-friendly products and practices, and demonstrates ethical and fair business practices. Without reservation, I trust Ame and her staff and recommend her services to all with complete assurance that they will perform up to all expectations. more

TERRIBLE! Worst job ever! Ame is rude and unprofessional. What? A CASH ONLY business? This is a scam. The girls cannot clean properly, leaves trash behind, talk on the phone constantly and Ame doesn't care. She is not even paying them minimum wage. She uses them like slaves. If you want your house clean, do it yourself is my advice. more

I have NEVER taken the time to write a review on any service. Unfortunately, our experience with Ame's was bad enough, I am. The owner, Ame, was extremely rude and unprofessional when we called several times in an attempt to get our house clean. I know we have high expectations, but when I can come home, wipe the surfaces in my house with my hand and dust gathers, that is not good. Pros: null Cons: null more

Just have to compliment Ame and her staff for the terrific cleaning they continue to provide my husband and myself! We have come to use Ame's exclusively for many reasons. First and foremost is the professional manner they conduct themselves. They arrive on time, are pleasant, and work so very hard from the time they arrive to when they leave. And when they leave, my house just shines! We use them for special occasions also, and they come through every time. Ame will even check with us to get our feedback - I love the personal touch. Most of all, I feel very safe when they arrive, and I feel confident that the job will be the best in Austin!! Many of my neighbors are long time clients of Ame's - no surprise!!! great service and always accomodating 2/28/2011

Always do a great job, anytime (rarely) that I notice that something was missed, by leaving a note for the girls it is always corrected. I have had to call a couple of times to change my schedule or last minute company coming in and they have always accomodated this with a pleasant attitude. more

Terrible / Absolutely the worst 1/30/2011

Stay away, do not use this service unless you want a dirty house. The cleaning people talked on the phone the whole time. The counters were dirty, floors were dirty (trash on floor big enough to see with the naked eye), dirty dishes left in sink. Was supposed to be here for 3 hours; stayed 1 hour 45 minutes, then service tried to charge me for 3 hours. Total ripoff. It's sad when our only recourse is to write bad reviews. I seriously considered stopping payment on check because this service is such an obvious ripoff, but do not want to deal with it any more. I strongly suggest that you look for another service. BTW, most of these reviews on here look like Ame writing the review themselves. There is no possible way that any one could give these people a positive review. more

Horrible Service Experience- They Missed Both Appointments! 11/22/2010

Very disappointing experience. Called and arranged for cleaning. Was asked if I preferred a.m or p.m., said it didn't matter. Appointment set at 8:00 a.m. At 8:30 no one there, no answer at office. At 9:10 still no one, finally reached office, said to expect them at 10:00. Finally they show up at 11:00. Was told cleaners had a flat and they would refund part of my payment. Arrange a 2nd cleaning and again no one shows. Call office and they say they don't have it scheduled. Cancel service ask about my refund and they agree to send it. Now 2 months later still no check. I would definitely no use or recommend!!! more

Ame's Cleaning - Best Cleaning Service in Austin! 5/30/2010

I decided to get my wife an Ame's Cleaning gift certificate for Mother's Day after they came highly recommended by a neighbor. I was very happy to speak directly to Ame, who helped customize my cleaning plan. The first time the cleaning crew came out, they cleaned things that had never even been touched by our old service! They were very professional and accomodating, and did a wonderful job making our home look brand new. Needless to say, we are hooked on Ame's Cleaning and strongly recommend them to all our friends and family.? Pros: Great customer service, thorough cleaning and great value Cons: Not one more

No show for move-out service 5/27/2010

I have had a move-out cleaning scheduled with Ame's Cleaning for over 3 weeks. I even spoke with Ame herself a few days before the cleaning to confirm and speak about a few issues with my first cleaning with her company. The crew was supposed to show up at 8:00 to start cleaning and they did not show. Imagine my surprise to call the office and they are closed for the Memorial Day Holiday on the Thursday before. This should be an extremely busy time right before a holiday for any cleaning service so I don't understand how they can be closed. Cons: No Show more
