Amaci Salon

2 weeks back, I went to Amaci salon for the first time for a haircut. Had a really bad experience at this salon. The haircut was a disaster. Karina butchered my cut, for $95 +$30 as a tip. It was a total bust. I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted. I don't know what she did to my hair, my hair looks so funny. Neither I can wear my hair loose, nor I am able to tie it, my hair looks a mess either way. First, I thought it may take time for my hair to settle but that was not the case. After 1 week, I called the salon and took another appointment to show them my hair and to give me some resolution to the mess Karina made. Karina said my hair texture is not good. I asked her to fix the haircut. She said she texturized my hair, and nothing can be done now. She advised me not to get my hair texturized next time, whereas I didn't even know what is texturizing. I made a biggest mistake going there. From what I experienced this is the worst place to get haircut done. Please don't go to this salon if you don't want to look funny. more

I never leave reviews. I love Anna and have been going to her for a long time, but it seems there may be new staff in the front? Whoever it was that staff seemed very inexperienced and led to me driving around downtown Boston for an hour and a half when they could have told me on the phone when I called them that my appointment had to be canceled. Instead I was on hold for five minutes and had to keep calling back at least six times. Needless to say I’m insanely frustrated and it’s sad Because I really like Ananya but I don’t know if I would go back because of this. They seemed really hesitant to give me the name of whoever I talk to, maybe it was Tamara? This whole thing has been a money drain for me too because I’ve had to go through the tolls at least three times more

I am very picky and apprehensive about who cuts my hair. I went to Amaci Salon this week for the first time, and I have never been happier. Amad is amazing at his job and really knows how to deal with hair and make the client feel beautiful. You can tell this is what he enjoys and was supposed to do. My hair feels so healthy and light, and even the blow-dry was the best one I've ever gotten. The salon is clean and classy, and the whole staff is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I enjoyed my visit from beginning to end and I look forward to going back again in the near future! more
