Great place 12/8/2007

Believe me this place is great. I'm a bit picky but i've been here 3 times now (thats a record for me) and I have no complaints. The receptionest ,shampoo help, and stylist are all so nice and professional. I asked my stylist who she goes to get her hair cut and I loved her answer""everyone here does a good job"" she said she would trust any of the other stylist and I thought that was pretty cool of her.\r more

A real treat after work on Friday 8/7/2007

I work at a near-by restaurant that is close to the All About Me salon. So after finishing work on a Friday, I decided to walk in and get myself a haircut. I was given Olga to do my haircut, and boy was I happy with what I saw after just 30 minutes. The haircut was great, exactly the way I wanted and for that I thank Olga. She did an excellent job and was a very fun person to talk to and just interact with during the time being. Not to mention, the service and atmosphere of the place itself was comforting and inviting for everyone. Definitely a place I'm going back to next time I need a haircut. more

great color 6/9/2007

I drive 45 minutes every 6 weeks to see Jenna and she's worth every minute. She is incredibly talented. I love dark hair but some stylists in the past had made it look dull and blah. Jenna came up with a color (like coffee) that was dark but still rich and warm. I have sent 3 friends to her and we all think she's the best! \r I would agree with other reviews that the look of the salon needs vast improvement but for me my hair is whats most important and it looks great. more

He saved me 5/25/2007

Brian saved me from the disastor that I was in. I had a bad hair cut over 6 months ago and couldn't find someone that could help me back to normality. MY hair was dry, uneaven, not growing back and all I did when I was able was wear a hat. Brian took the mess I was in and restored my hair. He even made suggestions on how I should maintain it. Try and stay away from the hairdryer, gave instructions on how to color properly, wear a shower cap for 15-20min to hold in the conditioner , make sure your eating well and taking vitamins. Let me tell you he tought me how to do my hair without drying it. I went to work today and over 10 people complimented me on my hair. I felt like I was finally free from feeling that my hair will never be the same again or it is going to take forever to grow. Thank you Brian. I feel hope again. You definelty have personality I must say as well. Funny, smart, and understanding. This is all the truth. I don't know how to thank you. Maybe this will be a start. Self beauty can be expressed here! 4/11/2007

I've been going to All About Me for the past 2 1/2 years. After each visit, I receive numerous compliments on my hair and overall appearance. I sincerely enjoy the look of my hair after each visit. A large majority of my friends have thanked for recommending for them to go to this salon to get their hair done. I personally thank Olga for making me feel like I am beautiful after every visit I pay to her. She does a great job with my hair and understands exactly what I want done with my hair each and every solitary time. Skilled artists! 3/28/2007

After going to a great hair dresser in Manhattan for a decade, I was skeptical about what Baltimore could offer. I tried all about me after reading about it on line. I saw Gina for a hair cut and Allison for waxing. Both women were supurb. Gina did a wonderful job, and after several visits, I had her radically alter my do. I recieved nothing but raves from everyone who saw it. She is excellent. \r \r Allison is also a great waxer. She wonderfully shaped my brows and lip.\r \r I would strongly recommend this place to most people. The only drawback is that it is very feminine. My wife went to Gina and loved the cut, but felt out of place in a salon that really caters to traditional heterosexual femininity. When my wife came in wearing jeans and a sports jersey, she felt very out of place. If heavy handed- sex-in-the-city femininity appeals, this will be a great place for you. more

Best place in Towson 3/26/2007

I look great! Thanks to Jenna and Michele . I have been a client of Jenna's for 3 years ,she always does a great job on my short fine hair, somehow she makes it look thicker, and she is so much fun to talk to. The last time I was there we got on the subject (dont ask me how) of bikini waxing. I said I would NEVER do a brazilin wax but somehow Jenna talked me into it and I'm so glad she did. YES, it hurt. Not as bad a I thought it would, but it hurt. 10 minutes later l was done and feeling fine . Michele is a very nice girl and made me feel as comfortable as possible. My husband still cant believe I did it. more

Great Service and Best Hair Experience 1/8/2007

well let me start by saying that this salon is very customer friendly and makes you feel at home. i currently go to GIA for all of my hair needs(cut, color, etc..). She has offered great advice when I'm unsure about my hair, and I am always impressed with the results!! ( I can't thank her enough) She is very friendly and we have great conversations every time! I've been getting my hair serviced there for about a year, at first scheduling was a bit of an issue but now I actually make my appointments when i leave.( for the most part) \r \r I will say this... it is a great feeling not to worry about getting your hair cut, now i actually get excited Pros: best overall salon experience!!! I've been to other salon and day spas in the Towson, Hunt Valley, and White Marsh area and All About Me Salon and Day spa is by far the most comfortable and pleasant experience. I?ve been going here for the past two years. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Stylist Jenna, Gina, and Cindy are all great. I have received facials from both estheticians, Lisa and Allison, and they are both very knowledgeable at what they do. This salon is the complete package. It's professional, lower prices, and it has ample parking. They are located on Chesapeake Ave in downtown Towson. Check it out. Pros: Service, Ambience, and Professionalism more

This place has it all. Atmosphere, fantastic service AND to complete your experience the BEST green tea (personally brewed by Cindy) served in the area. I love this place. I have only gone 1 time but I am sure to return. I lucked out and got Jenna. I was a little nervous in the begining but she knew exactly what to do and made me feel confident I was in good hands. My hair was growing out of old highlights I did myself some time ago and I wanted to go back to my natural color. She did a great job and was alot of fun to talk to as well. \r Thanks Jenna!! Ask for Leah Taylor or you'll regret it! 10/6/2006

All About Me as a whole is ok, but I probably wouldn't go if it weren't for Leah Taylor's excellent hairstyling abilities. She has an amazing knack for knowing exactly how to make a haircut fit the shape of your face. I never ever leave that place feeling unhappy with my hair. She surprises me everytime. Whether you want a more conservative cut/style, or something more updated and crazy like a mohawk, she always seems to know exactly what she's doing. She also has a real ""need to please"" attitude too, so if you'd just like to maintain a hairstyle you already have, she would be good at that as well. I also enjoy the girl who works beside Leah. I think her name is Gia. She is always good for a laugh or 10. If you're getting your nails done, ask for Corinne. She is so friendly and gentle and makes you feel really comfortable while giving you georgeous nails! more

Ask for Olga Trogun!!! 9/29/2006

I have been going to Olga for the last 5 years and she is just awesome. Her experience is very advanced and she is a very good cutter/highlightist. I recommend her very much. So go check her out if you got some hair ""problems"". She'll fix them up really well! I love Olga so much, I even made her name as my username! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to ask for OLGA TROGUN to do your hair. I also want to mention that she is very nice to her clients, very friendly. :-) Pros: Experience Cons: -blank- more

Jenna's my favorite 9/24/2006

My only complaint is that my stylist only works every other Saturday. That is a major pain because I work and live in Fredrick so I need weekend hours. That being said, I love my hair color(she calls it chocolate) and get alot of compliments. I always make a day of going to Towson so after I get my hair done I go to the mall looking great. Go Elsewhere 8/29/2006

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. I was quoted $75-90 for highlights over the phone and was told they did excellent work. Both of these turned out to be false. When the session was over, my colorist had left numerous brown marks on the skin around my hairline. Unacceptable for a coloring at this rate. Secondly, the rate I was exepecting had suddenly jumped to over $110. At some point, the colorist had failed to ask me if I wanted to spend an extra $20 on an all over gloss and another $10 on blowdrying. So, she took it upon herself to go ahead with these services and then just call me at the end. When I got home after a long car ride, I decided to talk to the manager, but this resolved little. Instead of hearing my side, she pleaded ignorance saying there was nothing she could do, since she didnt do the coloring and couldnt say for sure what had happened. Overall, this is not the type of service I would expect from people who claim that its 'all about me.' It turns out, its all about them and padding their income with questionable work. I read the reviews of others and decided to give this place a try. I was initially disapointed by the the atmosphere. It was very clutterd and the decor was outdated. In the end, I love my hair and I am glad I gave her a chance. I went to Jenna for a highlight and trim( best foil I had in a long time). She did a wonderful job and was very personable. more

well let me start by saying how nice and clean the place looks as you walk in. i am very cautious about who i let cut my hair. this past time i went to gia who did a great job! i told her what i was looking for and she gave me a few more ideas and i let her cut away. man, i was very impressed with the final results. i used to go to the regular hair cuttery type of places but now i think im going to continue coming here. ive already recommended 4 of my friends to her. \r \r this place is extremely man friendly if you know what i mean! Beauty Secret 6/25/2006

This is hands down the best place for anything in Baltimore. I have had numerous services here from brazilians to facials- all of which were impeccable. The space is absolutely beautiful! I'm always comfortable, and staff is highly professional. \r After coming in several times I finaly decided to lay my hair in the trusty hands of Gia, unbelievable! I have no been to her 4 times and each cut and color were remarkable. She is talented, has vision- she understands what I want and what I need, and she listens!! I don't want to give her away as my beauty secret, but I will share. .. Pros: Great atmosphere where you can get everything beauty, and Gia! Cons: parking attendent is annoying- not their fault! more
