What the Acorn lacks in ambience, they make up for in great food. On my most recent visit I had a great, thin-crust, 4 cheese pizza (about 8") and a generous salad of wild greens, goat cheese and balsamic dressing. These were off the happy hour menu and with tax and tip this set me back just $12. The happy hour menu has a nice offering of discounted salads, appies and entrees and h.h. is daily (I think) from 4-6. This is a restaurant I'd likely frequent even with out the specials, but I just wish the place were decorated a little more warmly and were cozier. The food's great enough to be a "date place", but it's sorely lacking in ambience.
