Claim the damper motor needed to be replaced but in fact it was just stuck closed due to the duct insulation. Cut the insulation away and motor worked as intended. AC Design...

I had a service agreement with this company so when I lost power to my a/c unit I called them out to find and fix the problem. I was charged approximately 50 dollars for the service call, the rip off was the 40 something dollars I was charged for a 15 amp automobile fuse that I could have bought at any auto parts store for 50 cents!!! When I called and asked to speak with the owner I was told that he was not available and that he would get back to me . Two months later I am still waiting his return call. Now I have sold my home and tried to return some extra filters that I had purchased. I was rudely informed that filters are non returnable. more

Called for service for two locations, showed up with only one work order. Did not put in a new air filter when serviced, did not have work order for replacing condenser filter. Call-back resulted in promise to get back to us. Waited a week and had to call them back. Now the A/C unit is not even working and they want $100 to do a diagnostic check. Just paid them $80 for next to nothing done. They lose our unit, plus several others in our development who will not be going back to them. No breaks for customer service here. more

A couple of years ago I needed a new central A/C for a part of my house that is rarely used. I got quotes from several local places and felt the prices quoted were way too high for the limited use I required. Luckily my wife saw an ad from A/C Designs in the Record. I called them out, got a quote and had them install a new unit. Bottom line, their work was excellent, timely and cost effective. They were $700 less than the next lowest bid. They did exactly what they said they would do in the time frame they agreed to. What more can one ask? AAA+++ more
