A World Away Day Spa & Salon

I am originally from Chicago and travel a lot. I was told by a neighbor to "definitely check this place out"! I am glad I did. This is not your typical salon & day spa. It has a Chicago loft feel and the music is club like, which made me feel as if I was in a hair show! Hether colored and cut my hair which people are still stopping me in the street to ask who does my hair. The staff if very friendly and catered to my every need. I was very impressed when the owner, Tony introduced himself to me and asked me how I was enjoying my visit there. I later learned that Tony is not only a massage therapist and owner, but he was a police officer and a former combat Marine!! The attention to detail is far more superlative than any of the salons I checked out in the area. I have become a frequent traveler to A World Away and I will definitely be one of their clients for life! more

I got my nails done at this place. The place was very clean and organized. The customer service is very excellent. The people working their were very friendly and talkative to you. They took their time doing my nails. It wasn't a rush out the down salon. I am very pleased with this salon. I would recommend this place ot others. more
