96 Main is most certainly not a dive bar! A great menu (The Tuna Tacos are great) and an outstanding beer selection make 96 Main the perfect place to kick back. It is located in one of the nicer sections of Main Street and is really close to the train station. more

Dive Bar, but fun 3/28/2006

The Derby is the perfect place to go for casual after work drinks and to roll with the college crowd from Vasser and Marist later in the evenings. The drinks here are cheap and they often have live entertainment. This is not the best neighborhood at times, but the Derby is close to the Hudson river and Poughkeepsie train station making it a perfect stop over location. more
