As compared to other air conditioning service/cleaning experiences I have had, 72 Degrees was truly outstanding. The technician was extremely personable, and he took the time to educate me on every facet of the inspection. He also made a significant effort to educate me on how the system operations affected the overall energy costs. It was a truly great experience, and this is a company that I will use again. more

When choosing from 3 companies to install all new duct work and to replace my existing central heating and air I went with 72 Degrees. Although they were not the least expensive but I felt I was getting quality work and a quality product. The sales person spent a lot of time educating my wife and I on the various systems we could install and the type of duct work to use. I have had nothing but a pleasureable experience and would reccomend them to anyone shopping around for a new system or even in the market for service work. more

We bought our new system from them when our old system died 6 years ago. They had a good sales pitch even if it was a little pricey and we didn't need all the bells and whistles. There were a few small issues with the initial installation and We have had a few minor hiccups through the years but they have always been taken care of promptly. Overall a decent company with very courteous and respectful service reps that do what seems so far to be a fair job at a fair price. more

When our heater quit working we called everyone in town and they happened to be the only ones that wouldn't charge us just to drive to our house. They were very friendly and seemed to know what they were talking about. They convinced us to purchase the "cleaning Package" or whatever they call it when they come to your house twice a year and clean it. Anyway the first year was fine. They cleaned it in the winter and the summer just like they should. Then we stated to notice things. The second year they only serviced the unit once. The third year they serviced the heating unit twice, and the fourth year after being told something needed to be fixed that was completely fine, I told then no and called and canceled my "membership". Turns out my husbands uncle has been working with heating and AC units for years. Anyway parts started needing to be replaced or fixed. One repair costing $800. I understand its a heater, it will be costly, and I received my 15 discount for being a member. woo hoo! Later I find out that the part bought only cost $300 brand new. So labor cost...well... you do the math. Fine I can get over that but the more repairs we have done the more a see I am getting screwed on prices. Fine, I get it, price mark up, they have to make their money too. Well when it came to the employees, one lost screws for our outside unit and thought we didn't see him do it, another had to be shown how to use our thermostat. He thought that when the AC was on, if he turned up the temperature the heat would come on. We had to SHOW him that you had to flip the switch from AC to HEAT. Another randomly pulled at some wires and did not realize that he disonnected the connection to the outside unit, so it cut off. Again we had stop him and tell him. When it came back on he said, and I quote, "well I don't know what I did, but I'm not going to touch them again now that its working". That's the part where he tells us it will cost $300 to rewire it, and that's when i call my husbands uncle and have him do it for $20 worth of brand new wire a couple of cheese burgers and one hour of my life. Another service man asked us to look up a price of a part on the internet then realized what he said and said " oh no don't worry about it" and quoted a random price. If we have to look it up it tells me you are making up prices, and you don't want us to look it up because we are getting overcharged by a ridiculous amount. Call anyone else but these guys. Trust me you will regret it. If you call them, and they quote you a price, check the internet for a brand new one, by anyone. You will see the difference. Besides you can say no after the quote. They don't want to help you maintain your heater they want you to buy parts for it. more

Engineer arrived on time, explained how he would carry out his inspection. Put on protective shoe covers, and asked if any questions before starting work, inspecting furnaces in our loft. Worked consistently on first furnace and found a problem with the heat exchanger. He told us the problem, including a carbon monoxide leak, and what was needed to resolve.He shut down this furnace for safety reasons.With our agreement he then ordered the repair part needed,and arranged to collect it two days later, and return to fit it, the same afternoon that he got the part. The service was courteous and efficient and we were well satisfied. Then inspected the second furnace which was fine. more

I had a complete replacement of A/C unit & Furnace with all new duct work about 2 years ago. The work was top notch and the system has saved me bundle on my utilities. The last 2 summers have been brutal, but my Equal Pay amount recently dropped just over $30 per month. My expectations were very high and they have been exceeded! more

I had my Heat pump split system relocated and replaced last year. Since then, they have returned twice to check both systems at no cost. Initially, I called several companies for price quotes. 72 degrees was not the cheapest but they could do the work before year end so I could recieve the tax credits. You get what you pay for. more

I had a complete check up of my HVAC system. The technician found a few items that needed to be replaced and gave me feedback towards future expected lifespans of our system and what to look out for since they are aging. Seemed honest and helpful. Would call them again if the need arises. more

I was careful in selecting a heating and air company to replace my old unit and maintain the new one. I called existing customers to query them on 72 Degrees and got extremely good responses. I then sat with a rep from the company to discuss and new system. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. Installation was first rate and the two subsequent service visits have been 5 star. I would recommend this company to anyone needing service or a new system. more

My husband and I have always been pleased with the service we have received with 72 degrees. This past summer when it was so hot, our unit was not working properly. We were afraid that we were going to have to wait until Monday before someone came out. They came out that Friday night! We did not have to spend one night in the awful heat. This customer service that we received has made us so glad we chose them when we were pricing a new unit. They are always super nice when they come out and they don't leave until the job is completed to our satisfaction. We love them! more

72 Degrees has serviced our heat pump for the last 2 years. Their technicians arrive on time, & are polite & knowledgeable. When we returned from a trip (on a weekend evening) to find our unit had stopped cooling & the temperature inside was 98, they sent a technician out within an hour. He replaced the broken part & had us cooling off within an hour of his arrival! There was no charge for this visit because we had signed up for their maintenance plan, & the part was under warranty! We have consistently had good experiences with 72 Degrees, & highly recommend them to everyone we know! more
