Pharmaca is an Integrative Pharmacy located on Solano Avenue near the Berkeley/Albany border.
An integrative pharmacy is a new idea which takes Western medicine and combines it with alternative therapies all in one place. For instance, you could purchase Tylenol and gingko pills after you get a chair massage and try some herbal tea.
Herbal tea is free in the back of the store, by the way.
The pharmacy is a traditional pharmacy, with technicians versed in both Western and alternative medicines. They are very helpful and will direct you to the right remedy for you if you like.
The store also features bath and beauty products such as Alba Botanica, Zia Natural Cosmetics and AloeGen.
Try Pharmaca today, you may switch from a regular pharmacy altogether like I did.
