Review content:
A good hair stylist is hard to find. One who gives you a do that has girls in major metro areas stopping you on the street for her name is priceless. Machele at Le Bomb Chele is an artist AND a character. She rolls with rock n rollers and can give your head the star treatment. An absolute wizard with color. Present her with a few photos of what you'd like to look like and she mixes them together to give you a look that is better than you could have imagined. On my first visit, she dreamily petted my head and decided, "I think you should be 24 karat gold." She expertly painted on shimmery highlights and gave me a cut that suited me perfectly. Two of my friends swear by her,too - one a curly mop top and the other a brunette with a long mane.
The atmosphere is not typical salon, there is still gossip over the sink but it's more edgy and appointments kind of are a guideline more than strictly adhered to. Let's just say, Le Bomb Chele is more than a haircut. It's an experience. One that I'm willing to drive 90 minutes to have.
