Businiess name:  U Street Restaurant & Lounge
Review by:  Lana K.
Review content:
THE GOOD: The service was terrific. Waitresses and hostess were surprisingly friendly (and beautiful) people working to make their guests more comfortable. They were excited about the food they served. Not what I expected from a trendy-pricey-dining-lounge on union street. The food presentation was special, as was the Kobe beef. THE BAD: One of those places that takes advantage of the "small plates theme" to serve you negligible portions of slightly above average food at prices that fit large portions of terrific food. This is compounded terribly if you go here with a large group. We were there with 10+ people, spent $40 per person, and left starving and (mostly) sober. Good thing there is a pizza place right next door - you can satisfy your hunger on a couple of $2 slices after dinner at U Street.
